I liked it! If you can't laugh at tragedy then you are destined to be suckered in by it. Geez. Anyway, if the great music had not been there, along with a few of the money getting bits, it probably would not have been as funny. But they made it great!

i found the guy in the ally, i bought some bombs and then couldnt do anything. im not trying again, that was baaad. man. Redo Redo.lol. Try again, and actually uase some drawing skills.
how do i do it? i got like 1500 bombs and 5G left over an i robbed the guy but i cant even rent the truck...
Reasons why it was bad.
1. Graphics need improving.
2. Where was the sound of the building blowing up?
3. I had no real control of the outturn.
4. Nothing too orginal. Timothy Mcveigh is DEAD!
5. Blowing things up and no real bloodshed.
Areas to make it better.
1. Focus more on stealth.
2. Lose some of the language.
3. Make it longer with different levels.
4. Better ending please!

I can see why everybody's being such a dick about your game. But I'm giving you a five. Offending people is what Newgrounds is based on, and this is offensive. What these losers who are giving you zeros are forgetting is that an offensive flash is not going to make anybody think for a moment that McVeigh is justified in blowing up that building.
I didn't particularly think the game was fun. I just support your willingness to offend for a cheap laugh. That's what Newgrouds is for.

The 9/11 victims' families act the same way towards things. I am thinking more and more that it serves them right for being so selfish.

I really don't see the big deal, this happend years ago. It was a tragic event yes, but it's time to let go and move on. With 9/11 and especially the Tsunami, well its time to let go.

Yes, the bombing was a tragedy to those family members that died during the bombing and I feel for them, but the press shouldn't have taken this game so seriously. I thought this was funny in a way, besides it's just a game, that's all. They should just let it go.

very nice game, i like offensive stuff like this. however, i got stuck looking for the extra money to rent the truck, and read all the reviews trying to find out how to beat it...then i remembered to use the infamous TAB key, so I will let everyone in on how to beat this:
First, click on the government building to get funded.
Then, look on the roof of that building to get an additional 100 bucks.
Next you go to the tavern and find your bombing buddy.
Then click on the space between the second and third building on the screen right before the building you are going to BLOW UP.
Buy 20 bombs. Buy yourself a truck, and you are all set.
Good game, thanks!

hey, i applaud that you are trying to shake things up a bit. america (and newgrounds for that matter) wouldn't be america without controversial viewpoints such as this. while i don't support timmy, his actions, or the innocent lives that he ended. i have a friend from OKC who was near the building when that happened. i wasn't personally offended by this. I just thought it was a shitty flash. you need to work on your graphics, storyline, plot, and pretty much everything that you incorporated in this flash. The only thing that I thought was ok was your music. Just work on your flash skills, and try again.

honestly, this game was made for a cheap laugh. as you have a $100 on the roof of the gov't building and an alleyway next to the right building on the screen before the building you bomb.

The fact that you can make a 10 min. flash, and have it covered by CNN is truely ashonishing. that in its self makes it a great flash

I didn't realize this was made by a Newgrounds member. This had the same quality as the Tsunami victim game....shitty gameplay, bad graphics...it only has shock value, as others have said.

Ok, first of all, putting aside the fact that the game was made in bad taste and it is offensive, the game overall ate ass.
The only reason I gave it any scores at all was because there WERE graphics (as piss poor as they were) and there WAS sound.

I don't get offended easily, and I wasn't offended by this, not even close. I gave it a low score because it was just a crappy game. The only merit was shock value, and even that was nothing special, I've seen much worse. Took 15 seconds to complete, shitty graphics, bad music. Meh.

First off, this wasn't even well made enough to be offensive. I have no problem with games that involve killing innocent people, hell Grand Theft Auto has been in my PS2 for the last two monthes! What bothers me is when someone makes a game, purely to offend and doesn't even put any effort into the graphics or the gameplay.
the game takes about 20 seconds, and absolutely no skill or rational thought to beat. If you click randomly around the screen youll eventually beat it.

Wow this fucking sucks. OK first off as many people have already said, this was a tragedy, not the best matierial for a game like this. Secondly this game was easy to beat, you could just click around and win, or press tab and have the answers highlighted for you, I dont understand why people find this a hard game just use tab if its that challenging. It was just challenging enough to be enjoyable and not tedious. I failed the first time, started over the second time in case i missed something, and discovered the secret to winning the third time. It was... strangely rewarding.
Moral arguments aside, this is a nice little game if you don't have a lot of time to goof off. The graphics could be much improved and there could be more sound effects, like the truck's motor and the building blowing up.

But politics aside, the entry did suck, there was little to no story, it seems that it was created to cause controversy, which by all accounts has done just that.

I can easily see why people are highly offended by this piece of crap. If you've lost someone, or have been DIRECTLY affected in ANY SINGLE WAY from the events in Oklahoma City, then by all means, it's your right to wish you could pulverise the balls of whoever made that game. With a fork.
However, if, like me, you weren't touched by the tragedy (but still thought it was a tragedy, for chrissake!), then I don't see why all the anger. People on Newgrounds have made fun of the Holocaust, war in Iraq, 9/11, and almost every other horrible events of this world. So... I just don't see any reason for all the overreacting.

The background graphics was lacking in quality but not crippling. In particular, the building should be better animated as sit collapsed. The music while it is collapsing is not appropriate and insulting. Took me a while to figure out that there were hidden places to click on. It may be more amusing if there was a better plot (ie places to go/stuff to do).
Though the game was insensitive, I've found it to be mildly amusing. I don't see why people are criticizing that this is making fun of a tragedy (I see no humor in this, except remotely with the sidekick guy). It may be simulating a tragedy, but there's definitely no humor involved.
To those who criticize this, why do you bother even trying this in the first place? I wonder what other games have "Oklahoma City" in their name and have a picture of Timothy McVeigh as a logo. None of your criticisms or this game will make the actual tragedy any more or less horrific.

OK first screen click on the bank or whatever the hell it is get your hundred dollars there hit the tab key until you see a small box appear above the bank click that its another hundered dollars on the roof, then click the bomb place and buy some bombs then go to the next screen click the bar get your accomplis then click next screen between the 2nd and 3rd buildings theres a space click on it take your money from that guy then click back and go to the next screen theres nothing you can do here yet go to next screen buy your truck with the 300 you got then after that go to the previous screen and the cinematic should start if not then just click the building and it stars. Now was that so hard you damn idiots.

Graphics were bad but it was pretty funny. I read the other posts and I had to laugh at their anger. Ryder "bombing services"? Hahaha. the bombing was kinda boring though, was hoping for a big explosion with 20 bombs. It was interesting to use tab as a button to find things. Don't think I have ever had to do that before.

I don't believe that you put to much time into this thing. The pictures are low quality, the buildings are low quality, and the only thing it looks like you spent time on is the directional buttons. Submit something that is not you first try at a(n) animation/game.

Ok, first of all, its impossible to complete. you get 100 dollars from clinton, get the guy in the bar, then cant buy the bomb. It was boring as hell, and horribly crappy. Listen, I like controversial flash. Really, I do. I give this a zero, not for its content. Rather, I rate this low because it is a horrible animation. it really sucks alot. A loop of music and clicking. Look at the animations on the top 50 of the portal. They have put flash artwork almost on par with conventional animation. You however slap a cheap controversial thing together that gets media attention, and now the general populace thinks flash artists are just sick weird losers with no talent. I understand this flash was done as a joke but....it wasn't funny nor was it by any means a decent flash. The grapics were pretty terrible and the way the game played was just annoying. Drag your cursor everywhere untill you find something...not a good flash...end of story.

I would most probably describe this as a pile of wank. I hate to make it look like I'm just slating this entry but it didn't actually go anywhere, the graphics looked like a child could have made them. The game play would only have worked on a much more extensive rpg, not some lame little attempt to be un-pc.

click on the government branch to get $100, then click right above the building to find another $100, go into the bombs and ammunition store and buy some bombs, then leave goto the next screen, click ont the tavern and this guy will join , then go to the next screen and click between the middle building and the right building then mug the guy, go 2 screens right then rent a truck for
$250, then go left and enjoi the crappy ass ending
Graphics: A few images from google, and some crappy drawings.
Style: Certainly unique, but the animation left a lot to be desired.
Sound: I believe this is self-explanatory.
Violence: The violence was more implied than physical, except for the poorly animated explosion, and the guy getting robbed.
Interactivity: It's a game, it was interactive, although not very well done.
Humor: The only comedic portion of the game, I found, was the poorly done dialogue, which I'm fairly certain was done on purpose.
Comments: Well, there's not much that I could suggest as far as "improvement" seeing as how this game was created for the sole purpose of pissing people off (as it stated in the credits.) Perhaps some better animation, and sound, but other than that, nothing else I can think of. This game is on the front page for it's shock value, rather than for it's quality. So, I say, keep up the... uniqueness of your flash?

Just because it's controversial doesn't make it good. I have no problem with the premise. However, "Playing" this "Game" involved clicking on a few random spots and seeing a few pictures of criminals. It wasn't funny, fun, or worth anyone's time. The only people that should be offended by this are the good people at Macromedia for this being such crappy flash. It's sad, because there are many great movies and games on this site, and front page spots can get good flash artists noticed.

Not being American I'm not quite sure what to say, this wasn't really covered at all in the news here so if someone doesn't mind filling me in on the details, however the arrows were well animated the rest was crap.
In 1994, a white supremacist named Timothy McVeigh along with his accomplice Terry Nichols became outraged over the David Koresh incident in Waco, Texas in which the bereau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms basically burned some cult's complex to the ground while all cult member were in the building. I think McVeigh was mostly pissed about the fact that the government was attacking "white, christian, gun-owning americans." So, McVeigh and Nichols made a bomb from fertilizer and diesel fuel, wired it up in the back of a Ryder Rental truck and blew the Oklahoma City Murrah Building to kingdom come.

Ok, so this game basically sucks. I'm not flaming, just stating my thought on this. To anyone who can't beat it it's easy. Get money from Clinton, get money from on top of the place where you get money from Clinton. Purchase bombs. Go to bar, get buddy. Click between second and third buildings and rob stamper. Go to end and buy truck. Go back one and watch the strange cutscene and woohoo, you're done. The Gerbil is very disappointed in this game. Not on the basis of what it's about, just the horrible quality. It brought a tear to the Gerbil's eye.
OK, if you are gonna make the risky move of making a game out of a horrible moment in history, you have to know damn well what your doing. Well, most people cant beat it, so ill tell you what to do. On top of the bar there is some money. You can tab your way there to that spot. In the place where it seems you can not click anywhere between the buildings there is a hole. Rob bedn to get more money. Buy the bombs and buy the truck, and congrats you win.

For a bad thing coming into a game.....and making it even worst.........it was alright......the interactivity was shot....because how re we to really know where to click, unless you use the tab key. you gotta be more specific.....it took a whole 50 seconds to pass, but it was still enjoyable.........good job on the game, keep it up
I was attracted to this game because everyone tried so hard to be clever when reviewing this game so I just had to try it out. The part of this game I like so much is the fact that I couldn't get further then meeting some jackass in a bar. I could of done it the true "Newgrounds way" and right-clicked and pressed play, but hell, that would of required me caring what happens; and we all know what happens. How did this game become a fucking "controversy?" Hell, my ass couldn't get further then 10 seconds into it. What a poorly made game. IT seems Newgrounds will accept anything now adays. HURRAY FOR MEDIOCRACY.
How exactly did this end up on the news? There have been far, far more hateful Flash movies to come out of just the Portal, nevermind the Internet at large, to warrant media attention. Maybe this one is just so shitty that it's utterly indefensible.
Despite all of the attention this game has received, it's really not that offensive, except that the game brings a minute amount of attention to a past event people don't care to relive. The game doesn't glorify the villans, encourage acts of destruction or terrorism, or really even paint an accurate picture of what happened. It's not even that funny, though it makes the bad guys out to look like a bunch of backward yokels. And in the end, the bomber goes to jail.
Seriously, even if this game weren't about blowing up an American building, it just stinks. You click your mouse on pictures of crudely drawn buildings and big red arrows to move to the next screen. After about fifteen clicks, you've won the game. The game was designed for the controversy, not for quality, gameplay, or entertainment purposes.
While I have nothing against the idea behind this game... it is utter crap. C'mon, you could have put some more effort in. You shoulda made the graphics more realistic... plus some horribly mangled corpses (with twictching animation, of course) would have really stirred people up. Maybe even a disemboweled baby or two. Plus jolly music, like sesame street or something. Damn, this game gives politically incorrect people a bad name.
Top job, well done with the media coverage, nice idea and it wasnt as bad as some of the reviews say.

This game would be better if it actually made sense. Who would think to click the top of the building to find $100? I'm lucky there was walkthrough in the previous review or I would have never figured it out. What did happen in this game, I wasn't too impressed by.

The idea of a game about Timothy micvagh is a funny idea, but the way u presented it just sucked. I mean, y didn't u make a more complex game. I mean, its even less interactive than an old RPG game. Don't give up on the whole idea, though. Im just saying that u should make the game more complex. For example, a plateformer where u can collect money on the street and where u can beat up minorities and take their money. Then, u buy a truck and try to dogdge police cars and finally blow up hte building. Something like that!

if you could improve on this, then I'd definitely give it a higher score. but as it is right now, it's just BARELY worth not getting blammed.

You know, a couple years ago, when I was but a Newgrounds nooblet, this flash offended me so badly that I wrote it a ranting abusive review, which eventually got deleted.
And now, years later, as a seasoned Newgrounds veteran, I look back on this flash and laugh, because this is one of my favorite kinds of flashes---the kind that pisses the weak-willed people off so much that I can lol my ass off (and get some nice whistle points).
While the flash itself is undeniably terrible---the graphics are sloppy, the sound is agonizingly repetitive (kudos for using "Celebration", though), and the mechanics are faulty (several glitches and near-required use of the tab key---it is the accomplishments of this flash, both in terms of media exposure and backlash, that make me smile.
I can't wait for the next "OMG HOW DARE YOU" flash from Newgrounds. It may be getting harder and harder to shock people, but there's always a crowd of gullible crybabies to exploit, along with our own take-it-to-the-limit userbase. :-D

This game is fun! I can beat it in under 30sec!!!
1.) Go to the Bar and meet Terry Nicholas
2.) Get the Fundings from the brown building
3.) Go to the scene where you see 3 buildings and click on the between of the middle and far right building
4.) Rob the person
5.) Click on the roof of the brown building and you will find 100 bucks
6.) If you have around 500 bucks, buy bombs at the ammo store
7.) Then go to the far right where you see rent a truck, buy it
Then you will see Nicholas chickening out on McVeigh and McVeigh bombing the building
It's alright, but impossible without the Tab key.
