This is animation I did thats mostly frame by frame. Its about a girl wandering through her dream, and discovering something wonderful. The art in the begining is a bit stale, but I did that on purpose. The art style changes later and its pretty obvious why I used two styles of drawing.
Though its my first animation, I went for smooth motion and avoided the overuse of repeated animations. I drew this so it actually would look good, so don't worry about seen stick people and annoying text flying across the screen.

to start off, i've been coming to NG since around '97 and this i say, is one of the unique-est i've ever seen. great job. i don't know anything about flash and i never would of guessed this was a first flash. u have great talent blah blah im sure it gets old after hearing it so many times.
i don't see why everyone hate the song so much, it's so soothing.

I spent a long 4 days learning flash before I finally finished this semi-stick figure movie. And after finishing this movie I decided to save my more artistic pieces until I could draw/animate better so that the seriousness would not be diluted with poor quality, which is why there is a large purge of comedy pieces (since they can look uber crappy and no one cares).
And one of the particular complaints about the music wasn't entirely just because they didn't like the song, it was the quality. I could only find the live version, and any studio ones were from the 80's keyboard era and I didn't want them silly synth pads.
**Fun Fact: I animated this entire cartoon based off a MIDI file without knowing what the lyrics were. Luckily enough my animation matched the words quite well when I inserted the actual song.

Nice animation could have been a bit smoother some of the drawings wernt the best... But overall it was a great effort... The idea was excellent...
Keep at it i think this is just the beggining of a great flash artist..

Yeah, this was the first animation I ever made with flash and at the time, my drawing skills sucked much worse than it did now.
I'm still thinking I should have saved this idea for later when I got better at flash, but ah ohwell.

Lol, it was black and white because I wanted something easy to make for my very first flash. I created this about 4 days after downloading the Trial version of Flash MX.
But another K&K will come when I have enough content to make another long episode. Until then I'll probably just release a couple short cartoons, or maybe junky FBF thingers since I've never done FBF movies.

I'm not a big fan of Heart, but it fit the movie well. I think the sketchiness and the black and white worked well depicting a dream. I think color might have wrecked this. Great style on this one.
This was before I knew about the "FILL TOOL". I tried a movie after this one, manually brushing everything in... poor lil movie, I'll never let see daylight.
Otherwise I origonally planned on coloring in everything when the chorus hit, giving it an emotional hit. But my lack of experience prevented me from doing it right, so I just left it B&W.

you should have used the studio version instead, and it was short, but a beutiful peice of work none the less, I listened to heart on my way to do some errands, and was happy that I (somehow) came across this....thanx
