This entry is for those who experienced the previous "Golden Glove Boxing 1.0" and found it easy. "Golden Glove Boxing X"'s career mode is 10 times more difficult to defeat! Can you beat 'Golden Glove' Jones NOW! If you never played my "Golden Glove Series" I suggest you play the "quick fight" mode first. Actual in ring fighting graphic quality is set to "LOW " automatically for max optimization! SLOW COMPUTERS NEED NOT APPLY!

first of all i liked the idea of the game....but godammit ur controls are worth shit they dont even work!!!
It's an interesting game... but it seems to be more of a button-masher than anything else... but then again, I don't think I've ever played a boxing game that wasn't.

the only button that works for me is block the punch buttons dont work so im giving this a low rating for only this reason
The game wasn't significantly harder to beat than the previous version. The first fight was slightly difficult, but after that it was plain sailing.
This game was more realistic than other boxing games i have seen so well done. The graphics were pretty good, but could be improved and tidied up a little. The blood on the face as you infilcited more damage on the opponent is a nice little feature. I liked the music used, in particular, the TV advert music, quite 'epic' and followed the theme of the advert well. Good job.
i didn`t even bother to finish it it was quite boring in the begining no acction and all this exsplaneing took up alot of my time
It wasn't much harder, I still beat the game, and had 5 leftover attributes points (everything was maxed) with fairly relative ease. The graphics and customization options still could have been better, but then again, this version was to increase the difficulty of the game, and by reading the other reviews, I'd say you have accomplished it with some people, while others still managed to win.
It's a great game, and it is very extensive, but if you ever make a ver. 2, you should make things more extensive, more customizable, and have extra features.

it was ok it was 2 easy this is my first time playing a golden glove boxing i lost one fight make it harder next time
It would be better if you made it where you could throw different punch combos and it was slowed down a little bit.... but nice work on the character creations with all the accessories... you did very well on that part...
It's even better now, but I must tell you that it wasn't so goddamn hard :D It was really hard in the beginning before I got attributes, I lost the 3 first times but after that i won every singel one without losing once, not even to Golden Glove Jones.
After the three times I lost I really got my great strategy going. (Check the original game for my FAQ.)
To make it harder, don't just make them punch faster and harder, just must make the game less repetitive.
Now make the sequel, not the expansion. Keep up the great work.

One question I keep wondering is... what the heck does your media hype affect? I've gone through the game w/ it ~500 and ~170 and didn't notice a difference. (This was the earlier version)
I thought it might affect your purse, since you can demand a higher purse if you can bring in more gate and buys, but it doesn't seem to.
Also, please put in a save feature, so we can continue games over time.

I beat that game last night, and i waslike its awesome playing it again but then... i saw this.. this perfect GGX!!!! i will become champion onces again. keep making more.. also costumizing your guy more would be cool too and buying more stuff!!! LOVE THE WORK kisses. toodles
I though it was a pretty damn good game! It kept me and my short attention span interested thoughout the whole thing. Great job.
If you make a artist to make the grapichs for you, the boxing part is great, but the rest looks kindof messy...

That doesn't make it any less fun, though. But those who say the difficulty's been upgraded are kinda wrong in my eyes. I was still able to beat the game with a perfect 13-0 record and beat Golden Glove Jones pretty quickly. But still a cool game in my opinion.
That was the best fightin game i have ever played on NG. PLZZZZ make another one with more fights and more combinations

I'm not a big fan of boxing games. I'm a shooting game man myself. This game's wide array of features for between-match activities, however, pulled me in. It's pretty fun to see the reference to your article in the fake magazine.
However, the novelty of this wears off quickly, and it'd be nice to see something other than your boxer dancing between matches. Furthermore, the fights are long and tedious. Maybe boxing fans will enjoy it more than I did.
For its flaws, it's a pretty good game.

The graphics just pissed me off and I got bored with it pretty quick, but i am not a huge fan of boxing games so hey, thats just my opinion. It was pretty okay though.

There's a bad glitch; if you hit capslock by accident you cannot use commands!
Sports aren't my thing and the beginning was a little long, but otherwise the game was great.

It was a great idea, but it came out to be a mediocre game. The fights are all too easy... All you have to do is get the other guy in the corner and punch away at him. It's just so easy that it's lame. Even The last guy is just way too easy. My life never went down by more than 10%...

That was such a good game but you should make another one thats more upgradble. The long jab sucks so dont buy it.
the long jab doesnt suck in sum fights u need to use it to punch them into there corner so u can beat on em without them bein able 2 move. goodgame with this i beat it just need 2 hit F over and over dont waste time blocking just walk forward 2 get him on his corner while punching him. but golden glove jones was really easy he got 2-5 hits on me and i could never break the bag!
i think its to easy you should give like a time limt in the fights and have like three rounds

as long as you have enough stamina to throw a combo, this game is easy. My stats were 0 10 0 0 and I could sweep through the game

It's a good idea in theory, but it's actually a terrible game. The starting enemies are wat too strong, you don't find out about medical conditions until after there are too few days to do something about it, and the controls are just plain bland. I had fun anyways. I saw how long it would take enemies to kill me. Work on it. It's really a cool game, I liked it.

In a word: AMAZING GAME!!! Normally, I'm not into these video boxing games but on a whim I decided to try it; I mean who hasn't heard of Golden Glove Boxing?!? Well when I first started off I ws getting my BUTT handed to me I was gettog beat BADLY. Then I started traning, slowly incresing my stats getting faster, stroger, leaner, meaner, until I started winning true all I did was train, get media hype and fight--so I didn't explore ALL the game had to offer but now I'M THE NEW GOLDEN GLOVE CHAMP!!! Who's next to step into the ring and face my unstoppable fury? All who stand againt me WILL fail
absolutely terrible!!!! You start off with $5k and your only option is to do a generic training. You cant train without money. The first fight is a loss before you can blink. Everytime you go to punch, you get hit first. The blocking doesnt work. All this media coverage stuff would prolly do good if you make it past the first ROUND! Too hard to win, to difficult and fiddly to get set up.
That was fun dude, kept me busy for a while lol.

took me a while to figure that out. I like it though, don't give this up, keep the concept just spice the story up a little bit.

I mugged him he was bleedin his brains out!!!!! The controls were crappy the setup was great. It was an average game. Too easy tho. I never lost. I had my stats all the way up to 10. Easy
I found it a little easy...I beat it all the way through without ever losing a single match. The gameplay was cool, I liked having to do the media stuff and training but the graphics were so-so. It should be a little more challenging if you ever do a follow-up.

Ok, dude...your fans and players wanted a IMPROVED version, not an impossible one. every thing was the same, just to hard to even try, I give this game the same score, but im making it lower for effort. I give this a 2, next time listen to the reviews.

Compared to some of the other boxing games out there, this one is actually pretty good. Although it is a bit challenging.
Only complaint I have is that the "Long jab attacks" are absolutely useless. Waste of money.
