You all played these games before. All you have to do is shoot at enemies, grab items, powerups, etc... and you'll get more score! I also fixed the autofire but...

OMG WTF TOM! Why won't you let me edit submissions with 5000+ views. o_O

Classic!!!

This reminded me of one of those classic arcade shooters that I love which this game takes place, the sprites look like there were from nintendo but what you did wit the weapons and the bosses was AWESOME thanks for the great game and keep doing the good work.

Wonderful

wow..this was really great! :D
I loved it...I love the auto fire, it's really helpfull and you can focus on the dodging :P
Anyway..although everything was great..I missed a few things...
-Credits? You can play continiously :P Not that it matters..
-Background..I hope you make different landscapes in B :D
-bomb switching...With that..you can be even more powerfull...during the game..I was so powerfull it didnt had to do anything :P

Great job!

Just like Raiden that mama used to make

I really enjoy Raiden games, so when I saw Raiden II Part A, I was really really intrigued. So I booted up the web window flash thingy and started playing. What I found was a quick look back into Raiden II with very few problems. The graphics, sound, and controls nearly all identical to wonderful Raiden. The quit key was a tad far away, but that was forgiveable. The power ups were much true and the addition of a life bar was fairly ingenous. My only beef is with the weapon changing. There is none...technically this allows the creation of a really powerful fighter, but still not having to manage the color changing is a tad of an irriation. The auto-shooting doesn't bug me very much (allows me to focus more on dodging enemy fire). I'm really looking forward to Part B. Keep up the good work!

The auto-fire was annoying, but the music was good

Without meaning to make the game sound bad as a whole, I thought the music was the best part of this game. Also, it wqas nice that for once, getting a different color power-up didn't change your shot type.
