I just relived my childhood by watching all the episodes of this series, plus I even got to watch episodes I didn't know existed.
Now that I've grown older and taken some film classes, I can honestly say this series is an amazing animation that I will never forget.
Although no linear story is established, we can see that thanks to "The Great War" the world Salad Fingers lives in has been destroyed, and in turn has made a deep impact on the very childish Salad Fingers. The series also plays on the idea that living in a world by yourself can drive you into insanity or a state of dementia, or in this case Multiple Personality Disorder.
The music for this series is also one of the best in terms of setting the mood. Every scene has the background music to take us on a trip to Salad Finger's world and only then can we experience what he feels with the scary reversed guitar riffs.
For all it's worth, I really recommend this series to anyone with a taste of the abnormal or anyone who doesn't freak out to every little thing, since this series can get a little disturbing.

its been years since ive seen this i forgot how messed up it is... yet itstill makes me laugh and i love it :D. there needs to be more short movies like this!!
