Update: I just want to say thanks to everyone who likes this movie. Yeah, I know I was going to get a lot of people who don't like this work when I submitted this. It's a joke, don't take it all so seriously. And yes, I am a HUGE fan of Mario, so don't say otherwise in reviews. This was really a spur of the moment type thing. And you can expect my next movie, Back to Brooklyn, which has been in development, you could say, for two years. This one will be much more planned out and really optimize all of my Flash abilities. Until then, have a good laugh. Once Anthony gets the right coding and copyrights in on his music, he will post it online, and I will share the link with all of you interested in the song.
Finally, a new submission to Newgrounds. Well, took me a year and a half to get another movie released, but hey, who cares? This movie took me a few weeks to make, would have been sooner except that I didn't really have time to sit down for a large quantity of time and work on it. I'd like to thank a good friend, Anthony Cassara a.k.a. LitenPoe, who made this song, using basically all Super Mario sound effects. He put the song together in almost no time at all. Most of this stuff had no initial planning and was really just spur of the moment stuff.
Hope everyone enjoys it and sorry if any of the syncing is off. I spent the majority of my time on this project trying to get everything in sync with the audio. I had a bunch of people beta test, and got varied results. So I tried my best with what I could to fix the movie up. It runs at a solid 19.3 Frames Per Second, at least it should run steadily there. Some parts may be a bit slow, and I understand that. Wish I had better luck getting the syncing on.
As for the preloader, I put the "BtB" preloader in to basically show you guys that the project is still alive and, little by little, it is drawing completion. My skills have improved a lot over the passed year and a half, yet I am kind of disapointed that I have yet to release the movie, considering it's been "in production" for two years. But there were times that I took months a time off and I redid the whole movie several times. If you care to see improvement, you can go back and watch the trailer I submitted here back in January '03. But besides that, NONE of my old movies are worth watching. Thanks for taking the time to watch this movie.
