crap

I'm new to flash, totally wet behid the ears, but I know a bad script when I see one. The ball thingy... damn that was crap!!! I fixed it so the object would actually move, instead of rotate... but that's not something you'd need when you want a guy walking. It was worthless. but it was a start. learn some flash before wasting a n00bs' time! and check your spelling. I know 8 year olds that spell better than you!

Not quite

Getting people to copy and paste code is NOT a tutorial. How the hell does that "tutor" anyone?

I'm lazy?

Nice tut, but there is one thing I don't get.

I'm trying to make a maze game, but the object only rotates.

Why is that?

I want it to go stright and stuff.

Vance responds:

Export it as Flash 6... I'm going to update the author's comments right now.

Wtf

How come i get an error that says Clip events are permitted only for movie clip instances onClipEvent (enterFrame)? i wanted to create a racing game.

Vance responds:

Make sure you listen exactly to what I say in the tut, you might not have your Car saved as a Movie Clip, to do this. Select your car, press F8 then select Movie clip. THEN put in the Action Script. Make sure to export it as Flash 6 before testing it out... Hope it helps.
