My first flash animaiton. PLEASE EXCUSE THE GLARING SPELLING MISTAKES AND THE MEANINGLESS SYMBOL AT THE START this was never actually intended for the public eye. None the less, I think it still manages to tell an interesting story, go for it fella.

Excellent Storyline - I like this!
I really enjoyed this flash! At first, I was confused because I didn't understand the story line but then it hit me! (Read the bottom of my review for what is happening. It *is* a spoiler.)
Most of the people who rated this poorly only did so because they don't have the intellectual capacity to understand what is going on. It really is a shame because it's a great story.
I think the animation was simple, but it was still done very well. I enjoyed the quote that was shown, it was a beautiful touch. The twist to the flash is also excellent and very creative. I think the only thing I would have liked to see is maybe some softer sounds, like oriental wind chimes. Still, I would love to see more of your work!

The quote is saying that if a samurai betrays, he must die. That, and a samurai's soul will rot if he finds a priority that is higher than his samurai duties. The samurai in the beginning is not the traitor. The one at the house is because he found a duty higher than that of a samurai - his son.

I love many of the serious pieces that get submitted to Newgrounds, and this is an excellent example of a good bit of animation. Not everything on this site has to be about boobs, guns, and fucking. There's room for people who take animation seriously as well.

Not bad.....
Actually this short was very good. I like the gloomy mood, the light/dark colour contrast, and compisition. The only thing I'll bitch about the film is that the main guy acted more like a ninja instead of a samuri, but what the fuck do I know?
