2007 commentary: This is my ambitious 5-part series called BRUNCH of the DEAD. It went to be awarded a daily award for every episode, which I'm very happy about. Episode 3 received 2nd place and lost to a cartoon about boobies (which I was mad at first, but then I realized that nothing can beat boobies). The series premise was to follow an ex-hitman who arrives into a ghost town where he discovers quickly that there's something wrong, DEAD wrong! ... no wait, that didn't make any sense. Well, that's exactly what the spirit of the series is. It's packed with physical humor, visual, pop culture, and some zombie killing action. I was still getting better at animating, but I never got to a certain dream plateau I was always shooting for. I admired so many other great animators on this website and I always wished I could get to be as good as them. So, this is an ambitious series for a regular animator. Enjoy... and you will see that this will be.... the most terrifying brunch of the day!

---Yawn inducing---

I can't believe I actually sat through it without falling asleep. I know it's only part 1, but nothing made me interested in seeing part 2. Better voice-acting could make this more enjoyable.

All 10s and now my favorite animated series

The beggining is great and i love how in the ending plays, it just totally scared me. I like the Girlman, and cool that you didn't spent ALOT AND ALOT of your time of thinking up names for your characters. The whole Black and White animation is great and you know, this story is more detailed then other Zombie Movies (that are not animated). Great job!

Really good

I really liked this movie - the black and white and just the overall feel made it very stylish and cool. The humour was also good, I loved the voice the barmaid kept putting on when saying "in the cemetary" and the shot of the main character in bed with a stuffed toy! Keep up the good work.

The Calm Before: Top Notch!

The beginning with the truck hitting some spikes and spewing toxic waste all over the cemetery is brilliantly done. Although not exceptional in the graphics department, it's all good. I also like how you presented the credits on tombstones... Very clever. This is just like in a movie you'd see on TV. The hand coming out of the ground was also great. I love the way you used black and white to liven up the atomosphere.

This reminds me so much of the B-type Zombie Movies I would watch as a kid. The music is also nice and cheesy. Just right for this movie.

The scene with the couple is a classic. Just like in most zombie movies, there is always some romance involved. "Cacamooga." It's hilarious how the woman drinks the ring.

Now, the bar scene was all good BUT, the only inconvenience was the woman's voice. It sounded like a man! Probably because it was. Haha. Just adds to the humor factor. You should have added subtitles or an option to toggle them on or off.

I also liked how each scene was introduced with a TEXT screen. Kind of like in the "Kill Bill" series. The reference to "Tool Time" was unexpected and weird.

This episode was slow but still enjoyable. No actual action but a nice introduction to the whole series. I really like your style. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the well thought long review. I love reading long reviews, it shows that that particular viewer paid attention and seemed to enjoy it more.
The girl's voice is purposely mean't to sound more manly than the actual male character. The girl's name is Girlman, lol.
