Updated again: I finally had the time to reply some of your reviews. Part two is now around 6 mins long & will be coming out around early May.

Updated: Wow I can't believe I got 3rd place. Thanx for all who supported me. I feel like talking in some freak'n Oscar lol.

Like always, I suck on the voices but this is the first part of my mind-exploding thing but before I do that, I've to do that boring main idea part.

Visually Spectacular

I really enjoyed your animation techniques, sequencing and style. The graphical appeal and varied camera angles and shots, coupled with your scene transfers trough radar screens was done extremely well. I will agree that you need some help with your voice work, and i have no clue what's really going on yet... it's the first chapter, i know, so I'm not going to dock you any marks for that. Your next installment will have to carry more with story, since your animation style won't be as fresh, now that I'm familiar with your techniques (kind of like how the second Matrix movie was lousy because the story disappointed and the special effects were no longer ground breaking to carry a lousy plot). Make sure to have a good script ready to contiue this story. So far, it looks great... as for only animators making comments, I think that's short-sighted. I'm sure you watch movies and play video games that you critique with your friends, yet you probably have never made a production length movie or have completed a feature length video game of your own. When you restrict your reviewers, you're restricting your target audience. The general public can't animate. I'm one of them. I don't have time for learning it either, since I write and am working on getting a corporate law degree. I still know what I like in an animation on New Grounds, and therefore feel that I'm entitled to a say, since I patron this site and you don't pay to upload your wares. I also want to mention that you should be aware that people without the technical know-how may be able to give you far better advice than those who are just interested in promoting their own style. I'd rephrase your comment to "Don't bother reviewing unless you're planning on leaving constructive criticism," or "If you're going to criticize, make it something I can use." Otherwise you're missing the point of what newgrounds really is.

Amazing...

yo that was a really good animation! I loved how the characters had an anime air about them. Really cool, and awesome story so far. :)

great

it looks like a keeper. It's got a good story behind it and it's a pretty good idea. I'd say you could give the characters more detail, unless they're supposed to be drawn like that(would make sense considering the awkward humor of the series). Keep it going.

Congrats

I keep on getting impressed by how much talent is here on NG. This has probably already been said but for once its good to have a clearly outlined story to go along, the art and animation had no flaws as far as i could tell, but the sound quality is a bit crackly and low, but you did admit your not too good at the voices, but be pleased to know that it didn't affect the way i like the movie, it did affect the rating, however.

Amazing work, creative. Congratulations!
