Kind of a commentary on the state of the world today and our views on violence, as well as a look at that whole 'an armed society is a polite society' thing. We keep teaching through the media that violence is a viable answer. If we don’t change our views, school shootings and the like will become as commonplace and mundane as fights in the locker room.

I'm not sure you're used to this, but I have a serious review.
I think you're absolutely correct and that our society is going down a path of violence that seems irreversable and unstable. This influence in children's lives has made a severe impact and the apathy towards the death of a schoolmate is alarming. I live in Colorado, and you'd be surprised by how may students don't even blink when I mention the shootings at Columbine High School.
It seems that the only way we can survive is to ignore the incident, I can see where your veiw came from. Rather sad, but it seems that there's nothing to be done.
Well, it seems it's more an American society thing than world-wide, so I suppose that's good? Then again, we ARE the ones spending nigh incomprehensible amounts on the military so, yeah.
We really just need to chill out about sex and lay off the violence. This whole "THE HUMAN BODY AND ITS MANNER OF REPRODUCTION ARE WRONG AND SINFUL AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD, but hey, Rambo blowing that dude the fuck up was awesome, yeah?" attitude leads bad places.
