Author Comments

A family, separated from the rest of humanity finds a city underground. Illustrated graphic novel in flash.

Notes: 1. This is part Two of Three, the other one is nearly done and will be uploaded in the next few days if possible.
2. This is another one of my illustrated storybooks(this part alone is about 80 odd pages). Don't expect anything else or you will be disapointed. Also, I apologize for not condensing into 2 files(which would have been feasable with the 5mB limit), but my computer could not handle a much bigger file, and kept crashing, so I left it at three slightly smaller files.
3. Leave me questions and comments if you have any, and I will try to respond asap(although time has been limited a bit as of late).

"I got kind of bored"

date: August 6, 2004

Your animation was very nice, from the opening page, I knew this was going to be nice. But with no sound whatsoever, I couldn't even bring myself to even watch the whole thing. I got very bored. It's not that I don't enjoy reading, but I come here to WATCH flash movies, not read them. Keep it up though, just think about adding some sound.

"good"

date: April 7, 2004

but i do have a problem i did not notice when i watched and reviewed the first part a couple of days ago, wasnt the big pirate trying to kill him to, he acted like he was his friend when he began to die but why the hell did he begin to like him?????

Author's Response:

I don't think he ever really hated him. When he found out he was his brother, that made him look at things a bit harder, I think.

"Wasn't as good as the first one"

date: April 6, 2004

But then again, it's hard to make parts equal up to the original (trust me, I know). But it's still looking good...scary lady taxi driver.

the story is interesting but gets tireing after a while. the guy seemed gay at first but i guess no contact with other people will do that to yu. what the hell yur getting to i dont know.

Author's Response:

I tried very hard to stay on target, although I know the book does tend to ramble, repeat itself, etc. And my insistence on reality instead of hyperreality or mythologized non-fiction doesn't always make it fun to read, but I think it's kinda interesting as a parallel, and since I can't write what other people want(which I don't know) I just have to write what I feel is interesting. And hope someone gets it.
