I can't really give a good review for this game...

As much as you'd like to say this person did the crime... some things don't add up, like why was that girl listening to heavy rock music... plus three people with the same alibi? I went through all the clues and there wasn't really anything that connected the person who did the crime... If I were to improve something, I would improve the dialog and add more rooms, there just isn't anything to go on when your suspects don't really say anything, especially since one of them kills you everytime you get close to crucial evidence:

For example, you could actually say why ashley was listening to heavy rock music not to say she didn't do the crime It's just a really bad alibi if there isn't a reason for it, furthermore having three people with the exact same alibi just makes it seem odd... you could had at least said one of them went to the bathroom, otherwise they aren't really suspects are they?

Another thing that threw me off was the fact there was only one guest bedroom I could look in, If this was a real murder case ALL the rooms would be made available to visit as far as I was aware there seemed to be plenty of room for the other guests to sleep, however the limitation to only what seemed like 5 rooms when this is supposted to be a mansion... just doesn't make sense

What was with the canisters btw... I mean was that supposed to mean something or did you just put them in by random? I really don't see the point in having a room with nothing in it just to get myself killed just by investigating :S

Although this kept me entertained for a few minutes, I ended up doing the exact same thing as one of the other reviewers... random guessing :/ so we have these suspects to choose from:

The Daughter of the victim listening to heavy rock music... wow like that gives her a motive :/

The Gold digger or rather the person which doesn't seem to "like" the victim and doesn't like talking about her current relationship, not even with her family? For 2 months though? That just seems odd.

The brothers of the gold digger, both with the same alibi and provide pretty much zero help towards your investigation oh and one of them mentions the grounds keeper wasn't in the garden... CMON!!!

The grounds keeper which seems cracked. If anything she is the most likely of the bunch as she is obsessed with cleaning, cutting hedges and pretty much mentioning nothing, great... now I just need a therapist.

Then there's the butler... which if you have seen any murder films everyone likes presuming the butler shot the master or the butler did it... but to be honest he seems a bit too loyal and he doesn't really have much to say except at the time of the murder the dinner was served and he was cleaning the lower level the complete opposite of where the murder has been taken place -.- how elementry my dear watson.

And then there's the victim's brother who if I recall doesn't really say much pretty much says he's out on the porche having a nice chat with the gold digger's brothers oh and a little dark humor here: he says his brother had a little.... "rough" relationship (wow way to lift the mood on the situation!)

So basically yeh, not really much to go on you can "investigate" the place just to find there isn't really any evidence to pin on anyone, or to find your neck bloody and fall down the stairs or whatever :P

Just some advice here: Next time make it easier, perhaps make a better connection to who done what... put some more diaglogue in there, more rooms, make the arrows bigger as its a little hard to click on them, dont be afraid to just try do some animation! Oh and actual pictures rather than descriptions of the stuff you investigate would improve the feel of the game. But tbh this is not bad considering this is your first game.

Ya know, I found the code #2 first and guessed the first one for the cops, and I kinda guessed with the people, too. It worked. I don't quite get why you'd scream like your face is getting ripped off, but hey, I guess that might be happening, it does go all dark.
