This is a true story, told in two parts. It happened to a young guy who worked with my dad, who told the story to me. I grew up in a small Australian country town and did my share of hitch-hiking to nearby towns, so in this movie I've tried to accurately portray the loneliness and eerie silence that accompanies any lone hitchHiker.

This is a very nice flash movie, the best one ive ever seen in my opinion!. and especially since its a true story it makes this even better! very good job, this one is going into my favs for sure!.

That night scene... the bird call made the hair on my neck stand on end. Very good on conveying the feel of being a hitch hiker. Talking about walking in someone else's shoes... I get what they feel... When they hear cars coming, they end up not being close to the road, they run to the road only to find that all the cars have passed already (very classic scenario). Ah I wrote too soon on your first submission ever to Newgrounds (Old Jack's story) You did bring up more stories you've heard in your lifetime. Love it. Going to part 2 now :-)

Great story in this one.
First of all nice job on making the size of this kind of small at 1 meg thats pretty good and there is no reall long wait, and always great on slower machines and conections, This flash is pretty good it has a realistic feel to it, probably because how well the animation ran and how good you presented the art so that was pretty neat and nice effort on your part, The whole idea about hitchhikers and such was pretty neat i thought, great job on this one with color aswell, i do however wish there was more backround story on the character, and the flash so there was more info, but other then that this was pretty good i thought, keep up the good work.
