A Public Service Announcement from The Los Guys.

It's not educational enough to be an educational film, so whatever.

I like it.

This was a very good flash, but it could have been a little better. First, the music wasn't too authentic to the genre, and second, the graphics seemed a liitle to modernized for a fifties educational video, BUT it was very good. the signs in the background were funny, and "what is this evil?" part was very loyal to the times. All and all, a very well made cartoon.

Good job!

OK, but wrong music selection

Great movie but you mixed your music selection. It was a good send-up of a ~1950's health film but you used music that sounded like it was from a ~1970's PSA. Also I thought the fat kid needed to be drawn fatter.

Always a fan of 50s-style PSAs...

This one is no exception, though a few things went over the top (America, land of the free... commies? Russians? Soviets? Kruschev!? etc.). Also, the PSA never really explained why gluttony and obesity were such evils that would bring down the US, but I guess that's pretty consistent with 50s-style PSAs, too! Heh.

Anyway, the guy not even waiting to sit down, but instead exploding at the food counter... brought me memories of Monty Python.

One thing, though... the healthy guy points to protein-enriched potatoes? I don't care how much protein or whatever they have in 'em, potatoes = starch and carbs, and you don't stay skinny eating shitloads of potatoes. You might as well eat nonstop cheese fries. #;-}>

Also, apparently the result of eating healthy is ending up with two identical twins or clones... THEY'RE EXACTLY ALIKE! Scary, man, scary.

And finally... as others have pointed out, turning down the candy but going with the stranger if he offers you a carrot... and turning down the friendly homeowner offering candy as a treat but going eagerly to the witch with the apple... definitely the highlight of the whole thing. Good job all around!
