What's up. I did this as a quick project to meet the release of the Passion. I figured if Riggs can do a movie about Jesus than so can I. Hopefully everyone get's the idea that this is a joke. It wasn't my idea to offend anyone, I just wanted to do an over "Hollywoodized" Jesus film. I mean if you think about it Jesus is the worlds first super hero. Anyway this is meant for fun so enjoy, and if I go to hell for making it, you guys will be there too because you watched it, BWAA!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Hello folks, normally I don't do this updated message crap, but there are just some reviews just begging to be answered.

1. I truly didn't think anyone coming to Newgrounds would be offended by this movie. I mean, it's fucking Newgrounds not the Christian Coalition website. So lighten up.

2. This is not meant to make fun of anyones religion. If anyone is being made fun of it's Hollywood and their handling of historical and biblical stories.

3. I went to Catholic school and was raised by a Southern Baptist. I know the Jesus story inside and out. I know that Judas fucking hanged himself. OK!!!!! If you took the time to read my comment then you would see that this is a parody of Hollywood's historical inaccuracies. Why must I explain this to adults.

Now i've said what i needed to say. And by no means is this an apology, artistic freedom allows me to do what I want, you don't like it don't watch it, simple as pie.

Thanks to everyone who watched this, whether you liked it or not you've made it what it is. And I've already been to hell guys. It's called New Jersey.

I kinda liked it, but a little short. Probably for the best I suppose...
I get what you said in the description, and I think plenty get the whole Judas deal nowadays (or maybe it's just people I know). I saw a movie when I was a kid where he was shown as very remorseful and basically ended up like you said (though I don't think they showed it).
Anyway, as a Christian, I think portrayals of Jesus as a badass are pretty funny. I mean, as long as it's not about an argument over whether you believe it or not, it's pretty funny to everyone.

Artisitc freedom is fine and all,

but it still doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. Not that your little animation steps outside of the boundaries (AFAIK).

It's well-made (not trashily animated at all; voice acting's OK), and an interesting premise, I will admit. And obviously it isn't done out of ignorance, as you say yourself. I agree with Shadewind; it's a different take on what might have happened after the Resurrection. Not exactly my kind of historical action fiction sort of thing, but I can't rightly say it's sacreligious or blasphemous, either.

Your portrayal of Christ gives me pause. All the same, it seems safe enough for a person who isn't treading spiritual waters. It's not too bad. 5/10 and a Hail Mary this Saturday.

Te Deum Laudamus, and God bless,

Great movie.

Keep up the good work.

And just a question: do you believe on other sides of history, Like the one that tell judas did not betray Jesus or this part was just burned by church?
