Well, this is my first serious Flash movie. I just began learning Flash about a month and a half ago, and I've been working on this movie on and off for about the last month, so what you're watching is basically a chronicle of my learning of the program.
This movie was originally going to be turned into a GIF signature for a message board, but it quickly became too big, so it became an experiment to see how far I could push my abilities as an animator, but I kept adding to it and have decided to release it as a movie. It features characters from the very, very good game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (which I would highly recommend to any RPG, anime or strategy fan), and I think that people familiar with the game will enjoy this most. But anyways, enough rambling. Grade fairly, grade honestly, and please, please leave reviews for me to draw from.
UPDATE: I've been reading through the reviews, and first off, I would like to thank the people who've had positive comments. I really don't mind getting a 5 or 6 rating, because my movie is much, much shorter than the majority of Portal fare, but I'm happy that some people are able to appreciate the animation, which took a lot of time to create.
Also, the blue penguin looking character at the end of the movie is called a Prinny. For those who don't know, Disgaea is a PS2 strat RPG, and the Prinnies are sort of like demonic pengui of the Underworld. If that seems at all entertaining to you, then play Disgaea...NOW!!
Good but I'm afraid it was too short !
The drawings were awesome !The only bad thing was the fact that this movie (which was based on one of the most KICKASS GAMES of the world)was too short.So,in other words :''This movie feels dissapointing'' :-( !

This flash is way too short, and doesn't give any information about Disgaea. you define a prinny as a demon penguin, that is just an easy way to explain. A prinny is a small, mainly blue(excluding laharl's mom and kurtis) penguin with peg-legs and small wings. They're the souls of humans that had poor lives and explode when thrown. This short doesn't show what a great game Disgaea is and quite a few people will be discouraged from playing if they see this. You are a beginner in Flash so i'll go eas. If you're going to make another Disgaea movie, then at least add in Etna or Flonne.
character design was okay....
animation was fairly good, thoguh it took a little too long for his scarf to drop.
Random prinny was funny, but Otherwise was just plain boring.

Laharl looks like a ragdoll.
ahhh.....
disgaea rocks hard but this is stuiped and almost has noting to do with the game
