One of "Weird Al's" polkafications of popular songs.
I love him too
I believe you actually got recognition by none other than Weird Al Yankovic himself on this song. This is a fantastic thing to watch and it also has some of the most fun audio I have ever heard. I can just see this thing in my head all the time with these crazy little guys just dancing around and doing crazy stuff over and over. It was also cool how you showed everybody at the end, to emphasize how big of a parody it was. They raise dust with their feet and react in the silliest ways they can. This is how every parody should be used.
Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words. To be honest, I was completely floored when Jon Schwartz emailed me too. I never expected the reaction this received. It was just for fun because I loved the song and kept picturing the video in my head whenever I listened to it. I'm very lucky and grateful.
This is one of my earliest memories, considering I have an eidetic memory that's really saying something haha.
Has it really been that long since those songs were released? It totally doesn't feel like 7 years ago.
Oldie but a Goodie
I love when Weird Al does this. He takes these songs, and they're raw emotion, but he turns them inside out and shows you what these people are really doing: whining, dramatically. I think he should include "One of Us is Going Down" by Sick Puppies in the next polka, if he ever starts another.
Haha! Exactly! I love it too. We all get uptight and angry, but sometimes it's good to just laugh at it all.
An indirect Sequel to "The Artist" shows the life of the salaryman
Cornelius & Toots are back, and a Haunted House Ride seems a little spookier than usual!
