Carious weltling is an Online Flash game, where you take the roll of a young welting (a "dead" baby bird thing) who is slowly rotting away in the desert heat, as weltling you need to catch and eat maggots falling from the sky to fill your ever draining blood bar. simple as it sounds catching falling maggots isn't all that easy when you have a barrage of Dumplings (also dead and rotting sacks of flesh) falling from the sky as well. add falling spikes, wicked power ups and cameos from other upcoming games and you have yourself ... dare i say it... THE FUNKIEST FLASH GAME EVER!.
The first, and most certainly not last, fusion of the creative talents of Edmund Mcmillen and RiftMaster!
The saga begins... :)

A couple of things
There was quite a few bugs with various hit detection. I dunno if it was just for me or what, but alot of times the hit wouldnt register and I would get killed especially by the guys that come in from the side. Also there was a bug where the blinking state properties went on indefinately meaning I was no longer invincible, the post death thing wore off, but i still couldnt pick up items! And nothing would fix it.. so I got like so far in this game only to be fucked over by a bug, just watching my 5 lives get drained away unable to pick up any powerups. Overall, I liked the music and the concept/design. This game is perfect for the portal and I wish we would see more of this and less Galaga clones.

Excellent game
The gameplay was amazing and quite difficult in the later levels. I give this game a full 5 ranking, hopefully it will be in the top 50 at some point.
As for this guy A_Bomb_420... you have no animations on Newgrounds, not a single audio file, and you have only been a member for a couple of months. Don't post a review just to act like a moron, it's pathetic. If you can make a flash like this only better, then you can say whatever you want about it. Until then, give the creators the credit they are due.

It has a good idea, but became boring too quick
The flash was gross, but isn't that the point. The story outline was a great idea, and so was the concept of the game. The music that accomidated the flash was really good. Wish it would have caught my attention a lot better then it did. The movie become too repititious (sp?) after awhile.
