"I love how he like, feels empowered."
You really expressed the way he's feeling very well. He's like, "Hmmm... This is interesting." You convey it in a manner that requires no words. He finds a gun and thinks, "I could use this to get what I want." It almost seems like he doesn't quite understand the concept, but just goes with it anyway. I love this stuff!
