I made this at the start of 2000. Keep in mind - it was cool back in the day, so don't expect it to kick ass...now that people have much higher expectations for every aspect of Flash games.
Hell, don't even bother to play it.

Pretty Good
I love the animation and sound to this one. However, I'm not a fan of these pick your own adventure yarns. Don't ask me why. I guess I hate knowing that I missed a route I could've taken. Anyway, this is very well-made, but I didn't find it great enough to be a number one darling. Still, one of the best produced movies on Newgrounds, which says a lot.

Hey, let's face it. If there's one thing the portal needs more of, it's nudity. =)
Anyway, it fun, yeah... with decent flash graphics. That's an interesting expression the hero always seems to have on his face too.
That "hentai" animation playing on thye TV was drawn by Takehiro Kimura, by the way. He should get credit for that! ^o^

It's got a style, that's for sure.
An interactive game based on the life of the street. Or, at least it's based on Will Stamper's version of life on the street. Check out his other movies, and you'll see similar themes. But this one is long, complex, and is a well executed choose-your-own-adventure story. And with good graphics that find the right balance between cartoony and realistic, this entry deserves its place in the top ten.
(by the way, try to sneak out after sleeping with the stripper. The comment cracks me up!)

Not bad at all.
STREET LIFE held the number 1 position for a long time, before "Cooties Bar X-Ray Glasses" came along. Personally, I do not feel that STREET LIFE deserved it's rank, but then, who's to say that it's not good Flash? It's GREAT Flash, but I suspect that the nudity was what got STREET LIFE it's ratings. It's definitely one of the better Portal flicks though.
