Hey, look at that...Females DO make flash games... BWA HA HA HA HA!!!
IMPORTANT!!! - Anyone who is really stumped on this game, just click the option to "(Read More)" of this comment, and look at the end.
Also, it really is helpful to read the explanation at the end of the game. And if you didn't look at the credits, the painting in the hallway was Jan Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring", a painting I have been interested in before the book by Tracy Chavalier came out, which lead to a movie that came out last year by the same name. The second painting in the movie is supposedly a haunted painting in real life, and if you do a search for "Haunted Painting" you'll most likely come across it pretty quickly. The explanation the painter gave for the painting is what I based this game on to begin with. (I commented on most of that in the credits, but some people didn't bother looking)
*****HOW TO UNLOCK "THAT DAMN DOOR"****
There is a note on a piece of article underneath the rightmost couch cushion.
It says "between 1+1", which is supposed to mean between 1 & 1 on the clock in the kitchen. In other words, click in between the ones on the number eleven on the clock. You'll get it from there...

mmm
do me a faver and tell me what the end tape is saying,all i heard was open your mind at the end. u did great but way 2 short.
btw it has some scary parts and a cool mysterey,awsome!

Short, creepey, sucked at the end, but was ok...
It is defanetly a creepy game but some of the messages get in the way & it would be nice to have an invatory or not be able to continue without geting several things first like in other games. It also seemed a little short & a little messed up how you end up dieing at the end... when I started playing it gave me the feeling that if I lingered in one area too long I might have died... It was pritty good, but hopefully next game you make will be longer and have more options.

Amazing!
You are a great artist, and this is a great game. I just wish I would stop playing scary games when I really have to go to the bathroom! God, the hands freaked me out..

still scary
i played this back in 03 and thought it was scary....and it still is now lol
