10 pairs of pics with 5 difference to find in each pair.

Reviews are greatly appreciated.

I'll be making another spot the difference game, so any decent suggestions will be implemented.

22-11-03: added continues, modified timer, stopped cheating (hopefully)

To be implemented in the future versions:

- sound
- some way of selecting different levels on different plays or maybe having random levels
- a submission system to an online high score table
- an on-screen reading of the number of differences left to spot in the current picture (?)

As a noob of flash animations, I think it's not bad... As a player, there is place to upgrades... Especially the one where circles turns super quick, not easy to find out the two ones who are not at the good places... Else while stopping image, it wasn't really easy...

Images could be more detailed... try dropping a look at works of Ivorydrive (5 and 6 differences, you'll understand what I try to mean)

I think the difficulty of seeing a difference connected only to the animation is a bonus! I like the fact that it goes above the limitations of paper and not just in a superficil way. But yeah - should maybe have been rotating slower.

Not sure what you mean here.

Yep, fair point on the graphics. I knew even then that my graphics weren't top tier quality and I like to think I've improved tenfold in the intervening 5 years.

i manage to get to the maracas and stars one
i can only find 4 differences!!!
haha nice game
people may blame your work because the graphics
of the first level but if they only have pass that level
would see a very good game of spotting the differences
also in the game it's seen you put your style on it
very good work i enjoyed it a lot !!! thnks! XD

Thanks for the reviews! I should probably bust out new versions of this - it was fun doing that smudge-tool art and I can do better work now.

In fact, maybe I'll make one in 2 weeksish. I feel like a few levels just don't hold up graphically so it's great to see folk can still overlook that! Makes me remember I should be less picky about my work now...

Gotta say, I'm curious how you found the game.

youll prolly never read this cuz the game is old but im real curious why i cant pass the third level...or maybe the fourth, the one with the eyes and its white red and black. cannot find the 5th difference. but love the game, keep up the good work

were u smoking when u made this game the graphics are crap thers no music and theres no way to cheat i suggest u get off the good weed and make a quality game (ie hentai violence and drugs)

"Interesting game"

It was an interesting game, however it wasn't very good. The graphics were a little bit sloppy and it looked like you rushed them. Make better graphics. Put in sound. Even crappy music is better than no music (if it's to crappy then maybe not). It was somewhat fun, could have made it a little bit easier, but not much. There is a lot to improve on. The concept itself isn't bad. Overall, it's an average game.

You're quite perceptive. I did indeed rush the gfx. I tended not to put in sound for reasons of filesize/my ease. I realise now that was a mistake.

Maybe when I finish my HND I'll do another to show I can actually draw now.
