Update 10-1-03: Whoo! Daily 4th! Thanks to everyone that liked this movie enough to get us there :)

Well, here it is. HIDE THE CHILDREN. This movie marks Tadepec Studios' first official, collaborated product -- a 7 minute long movie parodying the state of pop flash culture. This film takes a look into horribly redundant sprite movies, skate movies, and other NG fiascos.

Tadepec Studios consists of Jimmy (JimonG5) and Justin (Adept Omega). After a few years of teaching ourselves flash, learning from one another, and releasing our own, individual movies, we have finally pooled our efforts together to create this movie, "Lucca VS Magus."

Enjoy!

Information about this movie:
Running time: Approximately 7 minutes
Production time: About a month and a half
Over 12200 Frames
24 FPS
11 Scenes
3 Easter Eggs
and way too many layers.

pretty funy.

i liked it. although during the movie i had a feeling that this was a ripoff of Arfenhouse, then while watching the credits, thaey credited Misteroo. so ya, this wa pretty good, although for the sonic part, you coulda just used sprites from that. or whatever the author is comfortable with is fine with me.
all in all, funny movie,.

Cheap way to get a good score..

This is a bad excuse for a crappy movie. You just made all those crappy scenes because you cant draw.

Jimong5 responds:

Um, Did You even watch the whole movie through? What about the Golden Sun Scene, or the 2 Author scenes? What about the User Interface in the Pre-loader or Scene Selection? Those were all custom Made.

Adept_Omega's Response:

I can certainly see... at first glance... how you might think that.

However, did you see the author scenes...? Those were animated, and... in my opinion, probably could have been worse.

Also, all spell animations were animated frame by frame at 24 FPS using multiple layers. So... though there are sprites, we tried to use real drawing whenever possible. I can only wonder... did you really watch it all the way through? It varies a lot in 'quality' and content, and could be misleading in the beginning.
