Slow computers will run Flash at slow speeds, I found a way around it, but it only goes so far. If the game runs at irritatingly slow speeds for you, close some programs, change the screen size from the options menu, and grab the latest Flash player from /go/getflashplayer, since later versions play the game slightly faster

On some computers, you can only press so many buttons at the same time, this isn't a bug in the game, just something I have no control over

One thing I added in this game is the ability to unlock weapons, to unlock them, beat "Megaman vs Ghosts 'n Goblins" or this game, and you should see a message before the credits saying you've unlocked a new weapon. The new weapon should be selectable in the pause menu the next time you play either game

If you do not see a message saying you got a new weapon, this could be due to several different things....
1. You may have blocked Local Storage, right-click on the game, select "Settings", click on the folder icon, and if the "Never ask again" checkbox is checked, uncheck it
2. Go to /go/getflashplayer and check to see if you have the latest version of Flash
3. You may have ignored the game when it requested storage, if you see a prompt before the credits requesting permission to store data on your computer, allow it
4. Are you sure you don't already have it? Pause the game while playing and check to see if any other weapons are availible

Fixed a few things, including that boss-falls-off-the-map bug, and I'm on the Frontpage!
Couple more small updates
Engine update, new pause menu, unlockable weapons
Cross-game stuff finished, updated some parts of the map, upped the music quality

This, if it were longer, could definitely be released as a full game. *NO* other Flash game (ESPECIALLY not the other Mega Man ones) runs as smoothly, or as responsively, as Megaman vs. Metroid does. Also, I was kinda bummed when I saw the awkward controls you had pre-designated. It was much to my delight that you let me configure my keys. Consequently, I was able to enjoy the game with a ZERO learning curve, since I've played both Metroid and Mega Man on my emulators with the same key configuration. Thanks for that.

Now... it's an extremely rare occurence that I give 10's in ANY category for any Flash movie. But for you, you get 10's in both Sound and Graphics, because every sound was authentic from the games and perfectly timed; the graphics - everything from Mega Man flashing while he charged his buster to the scene transitions - were totally smooth and perfect.

Excellent work on this.

pure genius, however i would have prefered to be samus, i like samus a whole lot better than megaman

everyone says samus is hard, but i thought she was WAY too easy, a very repetitive pushover,
but dont mind my opinion, i have a really good way with video games, i know how hard it is to do this crap and i must say, even if it had sucked i would have given you a 5, merely for effort

i beat samus the 1st time with 75% health, (i have a high IQ)

one of the best games out there

Absolutly Perfect!

I personally find myself to be a strict reviewer, but DAMN this blew my socks off! All the animations were smothe and timing was perfect. The speed at which ever character and sprite moved was absolutly perfect. Even the ability to change the button configuration. This is definitly the greatest Flash game thus far, and I have played alot.
I will enjoy seeing this on the front page because it definetly should be there now. The learning curve was great too. I found it easy at first, but near the end I found myself hunting for energy, and it took me 3 tries to beat Samus.

This is the most amazing piece of flash work I have ever seen, and I hope it will go down in history as that. I am in awe. I hope this is an insperation to all flash workers in the future.
