This could have been a lot better

It could have been a lot better. As someone already mentioned the boss weaknesses arent built in, which pretty much rules out any point to using any weapon other than firemans and enkers. Also everyboss in megaman had the same amount of health as megaman, plus cutmans blade cant hurt megaman either.

Rather flawed, when you get right down to it.

To be brutally honest, this is average at best. The graphics were OK, until you saw the special attacks, which looked horrid compared to the graphics you ported over from the games. The music was insanely repetitive, and there are zero sound effects. Elecman has no weakness to Cutman's weapon, nor does Iceman to Elec's, Fire to Ice, Bomb to Fire, Guts to Bomb and Cut to Guts.

Simply put, the weapons did the same range of damage to every boss, no matter who the boss was. It comes down to just picking the weapon that does the most damage consistently (Enker and Fireman's), and using that over and over until you killed everything.

Worst of all, you can bypass ANY FIGHT if you want to by right-clicking and choosing Play as soon as the options to fight are shown.

Overall, the graphics were bad for the most part, the SFX were non-existant, the strategy was non-existant (kill Fireman first and use his weapon until you get Enker's, then use that for the rest of the 'game'), the music got annoying quick and anyone who doesn't want to work at going through the game can right-click and Play their way to the end.

I gave it a three for the score, because it _was_ a decent effort, but it isn't one of the best I've seen and it sure as hell isn't God-like. I sincerely hope that the sequel corrects/improves the weak areas this first RPG had.
