*Storyline*
Attention Macross / Robotech fans, this animations storyline is an alternative version of the original.

Ok, part 3. This one was kind of funny in construction because I worked on it for 3 months, adding a scene here or there, and then all of the sudden, BOOM! I did like 15 scenes all in one night! It was nutz! Note some new things appearing here. The first real 3D transforming Veritech in any of my films (Yes, that's called Guardian configuration kiddies) Now keep in mind that this is already peaking at 3 and a half megs, so it CANNOT GET MUCH LONGER!

(And yes, that's music from EVANGELION. I love the show, I love the music.

"pretty good"

dude they are way too short you can make all the episodes and combine them into one big episode and it will only be like 3 minutes when ive seen movies like 17 mins long on newgrounds i mean all of your movies are realy short which is why im giving this a 3 because you can make them alot longer.

Author's Response:

Hay, I would love to, but they take months to make, and I always throw a full length high quality MP3 on top of them, that brings the file size up. The only way I can combine them is if I make them into a VIDEO, witch I have looked into, and cannot seem to get to work.

PS, you gave it an 8, :P

"Great work!"

date: June 29, 2004

Okay, sure your 3d skills are great, blah, blah, blah, but what no one seems to mention is how great a directory you are! You have some of the most beautiful shots with the MDF-1 (whats the "M" stand for anyway?) and the Veritechs. The direction on the characters is very good too.

I do have one criticism: more characterizations please. What really made Robotech great was that all the cool mecha and space battles, etc. were all back drop to a great drama with great characters like Max, Roy, Rick, Lisa, Claudia, Gloval, etc, etc., etc. We don't really have any of those kinds of characters (with the exception of when they actually do show up that is) here and your work could benefit from giving us some characters to identify with.

Now, I'm not the biggest fan of AU type series, but this is pretty good and I have to say, I'm hooked and I'll be here till you finish it out. I just hope you pay some respects to Southern Cross and New Generation before its all over. And yeah, that was a hint.
Keep em coming....PLEASE! :)

"This looks like the latest so......"

date: March 21, 2004

Since this looks like the latest one produced, I'll review all your work right here. Very good job, I used to watch Robotech all the time, though I can't remember the people very well, I think you captured the overall plot very well in you own series. I thought that adding Sailor Moon was a bit much. You continue to improve upon your episodes, right up till this one, which because of the lack of voices, I will call a disimprovement. Although it did have better graphics. Continue on, I'm loving the series.

I loved the first two parts of this mini-series, and I was surprised to see that this was already out. Everything is as usual, awesome, except for the fact that you are not having voices in the movie. I was just starting to consider your movies near perfect, but they need voices. I loved the shots of the red, silver and blue ships grouped together. Very cool looking. Good use of sound effects. This is really a visual movie rather than anything else. It looks beautiful and that is that. You are good at telling a story through other means than text and speech, and I like that a lot. Keep up the good work, you can only improve.
