This is the latest toon release from Jim Fisher and John Atkins. We both live in Alabama and felt we needed to do this toon to show our perspective of the 10 Commandments story. Our toon is funny, but drives home a message of the dangers of intolerance and religious hysteria.

"Hey"

I've said it before I'll say it again, shut up about southerners, people like you who have no understanding of our culture should not do stuff like this. Who cares if the ten commandments are in a judical house? And unlike what alot of people think, just because we are rebublican or southern, or whatever, dosen't mean we're racist.

"Weak. And that's coming from a fellow redneck."

date: December 30, 2004

Awaken and rise, o ye of the television mindset! Just like the Civil War wasn't really about slavery, the commandments issue wasn't really about religous intolerance. Both issues were concerned with states' rights in the face of an oppressive federal oligarchy. Please return to school and learn to identify mass media and altered history brainwashing before you represent Alabama again. You give goat fuckers a bad name.

"average movie, important event"

date: September 7, 2003

I have mixed feelings about this movie. I agree with some of the ideas expressed, especially those about people who are intolerant and that our government is a despotic cesspool. However, some of it was just complete horseshit, such as the Klan reference. I'm not a christian nor do I live in the fine state of Alabama but I am for States Rights, and whether the commandments stay or not should be up to the people of Alabama. No one except the people in that State should be involved and the federal government needs to fuck off. Put it up for a vote. One vote per person with a simple yes, no, and undecided ballot, and if the majority of Alabamians vote yes let them have it, if its no then remove it. The federal government shouldn't even be in the damn picture.

And those of you talking about separation of Church and State don't need to hold your breath. In some ways "Church" and State will allways be intertwined no matter what the religion. Nothing in this world is completely exclusive from everything else, there is always interactions and/or reactions.
