One of my absolute absolute favorite flashes on NG. Your work makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time. There's this sense of melancholy underlying the humor that makes it so memorable.

Alan, why are you such an amazing writer? Every single one of your works, whether it be short or long, just seizes to amaze me. The way you fit the animation with the voice acting and the situation- I'm just truly amazed at how much can be done in flash, especially back in 2003. I really hope you make some more flash.

One of your Best
This is the sort of animation that shouldn't work.
How you were able to somehow fit a family semi-crisis, a tale of misconceptions, and a boy with a microwave on his head into the same storyline is beyond me. In the hands of someone else, this piece would be atrociously wacky-for-wacky's-sake. Your plot (however big or small) always seems to unravel naturally.
The main father-son plot seems to resolve too quickly at the end, but other than that, it is one of your best by far.

good job
it was very dramatic, wich is nice and that is actually what it is saposed to be. 10/10. and that guy from the 3rd one is probably still triming the hedges.
