Not sure why you used Raspberry Clock in this animation.
Anyway, the choice of music was very poignant and the grievances illustrated by the fading away was a poetic touch.
I did feel that having all the animals around and the single-tear scene were a bit trite, almost trivialising the rest of the thing.
Without wanting to deconstruct what is obviously a very personal piece, I just feel that showing some more personal scenes - some stuff that applies more directly to you guys and is directly relevant - would have helped make this a more meaningful flash, maybe helping spread a little knowledge of what Damon was like and maybe spreading a message he'd want to be spread...
Anyway, I'm sorry to hear your friend died, and hope you've moved on by now. I can't imagine what it's like to lose someone very close to you and only hope you're enjoying life again.
