ok its a nice use of sprites, and mario babies is a cute idea. and the fact that the yoshis are pushing them in strollers is funny too. but it lacks any plot, or real joke. so develop on the idea and make a longer one that has some plot or joke. i can see the potential though!

Alright, i usually don't do reviews, but for this I'll make an exception. This wasn't funny at all. It was a short flash, sprites that didn't blow me away at all. And there really wasn't anything good about it, at all. Reading the reviews, only a few other newgrounders actually enjoyed this for what it had to give. I usually love all front page material, but this just made me think about how many stupid ppl there are in the world. First of all, the graphics were HORRIBLE. It was all pixelated shit. They making it SMOOTH next time idiot. Yoshi doesn't look like that. Yoshi is 3D, not 2D. Mario and Yoshi were never in a 2D game. Mario 64 was the first Mario game. I'd rather shat then watch this again, horrible, just horrible. I can't speak enough of just how terrible this movie was. For example, if Aliens were to come to Earth to make peace, and we showed this movie to show them our intelligence, the Aliens would immediately destroy this planet. 1.) Having two Yoshies instead of one look after the babies was a nice touch, IMO.

Like all Video Game parodies, I will give my two cents...for what it's worth:

THE GOOD:
The sprite work was pretty good. Interesting use of sprites.

THE BAD:
The story (or lack there of). It was dry, not very funny, and was lacking something, that I can't quite put my finger on. The sound was a bit off. Not quite the right choice of audio, though some of the audio was pretty decent.

THE UGLY:
The mario babies crying. Any video that has the mario babies crying needs to keep that crying at a minimum.

OVERALL: Not bad. I would have liked to see a more demonic...satanic sort of reaction from Yoshi. Sure, the scary face would traumatize the babies, but the other Yoshi? Maybe if there was a satanic peice of audio, some eye coulor change, and fading the background black for that moment in time would have a MUCH better effect that transparent flames. So, like I said, next time, consult people and get opinions, but good job.
