This is part one of a tragic story that takes place in the Mushroom Kingdom. It is my first sprite movie.

Great work man!

I don't think I've seen a mario spoof that was serious, and this is a first, and it was excellent! Can't wait till part 2!

LOL, damn it...

Ha ha ha, I can't believe I felt as heartbroken as I did by that last scene. I mean, it's a Mario tribute, but all the same... maybe it's a farce, or maybe it's supposed to be taken seriously. If it's the latter, then I guess my reaction was correct. If it's the former, I feel like the biggest douche on Newgrounds right about now.

Even the famous underwater level music playing over the credits seemed eerily somber and haunting in lieu of what I just watched. In fact, every piece you chose was suited perfectly to the story. Especially the "conspiracy" music... oooooh, creepy stuff there, man.

Maybe I'm just too fond of our beloved Italian plumbers, but this movie pulled at my heartstrings in a way that I can honestly say NO other Flash movie about Mario and Luigi has come close to doing. I can't wait for the next one! Excellent work!
