First off, good news.

1. Nice idea, about time sonic got shot.
2. Great work on the making the weapons animations.
3. Great selections of Sonic advance 2 boss music.
4. Great moves that sonic performed. Well Done.

However, there was a couple of problems I noticed.
This is not insulting your work. I'ts quality work.

1. This may just be my computer, but there was a little to much slow down in the animation. I have seen smoother sprite animation. Your abilities will progress over time.
2. I can't blame you, but you did change Ivo Robotnicks sprite sheet from Sonic advance 2 to sonic 1. Quite a considerable change. Unfortunatly there are no sprites of Ivo advance out of a veicle, unless you know where to look.

Apart from those minor things, Great. Keep up the good work.

That was awesome. Your visuals are really something, I'm impressed with the newly made sprites, those rock. The music (especially the little chime that opens robotnik's new inventions) was awesome. The way sonic totally annihalated all of them was done creatively as well. The end was funny as hell, especially with that classic grin Robotnik has. Awesome job, keep up the excellent work.

A great sprite animation. It had it's share of good and bad however. First, the most annoying part, was the slow speed when Sonic would take out Robotniks inventions, though it was fine at the Invention # black and white screen. I don't know if this is the way it was animated, or the labtop I'm using right now, though the labtop could handle other demanding animations.

The inventions were great looking, even for sprites. I loved the way that you used the same style inventions that you would actually find in a sonic universe.

Another high point was the sound. Though I don't remember Invention 1's music, the other two had Korn, which totally works with Sonic, for some odd reason.

The only thing I had a real problem with was the ending. I know it's supposed to show that Robotnik used all these fancy weapons when he could of used a gun, and that's very humorous. However it just felt like an anticlimax to me.

The inventions and methods of the destroying them, each progressed and became more unique and more imaginative, and then you just have Robotnik shooting Sonic with a gun...when I was expecting something bigger and more bad-assed.

However, the gun is what delivers the ultimate punch line in this animation, but just seems like you could've done soooooooo much more. Oh, and don't take this review in a bad way. It left me wanting more, which is more than I can say about most of the submissions on The Portal.

You have talent, which a lot of animators now a days on Newgorunds lack. Don't ever lose it, and just keep on improving.

TheBluntSDK gives "Robotniks Best Invention" a buzzworthy 8 out of 10.

First of all the graphics are unoriginal and dull. The characters move extremely slowly and it looks as if the whole piece has been rushed. Also, the text boxes are tacky. I can see how much effort you put into this work. The sprites all look well animated. Everything from Sonic destroying machine after machine, and later getting killed himself, all look very convincing.

The story element is very simple and very funny. This kind of reminds me of all those "Wily Coyote" cartoons, where Robotnik is busy building machine after machine. Then later runs into trouble as Sonic easily defeats him, like just like that pesky Road Runner.

This movie really entertained me, and I cannot wait till your next work. Keep them coming

Even if you're not a fan of Sonic, this movie pretty much sums it all up. Sound was good and effective, music was good well it lasted, graphics are sprites, so fucking what... it doesn't matter. Are you going to Blam vsdig's work because he only uses sprites? Didn't think so. Anyway, this whole thing reminded me of a Road Runner cartoon with Wile E. Cyotie buying all his ACME inventions trying to get the RR with them always screwing up. Very funny as it gets closer to the end. I bet you a million dollars you'll laugh at the end. If you don't, you won't diserve the money anyway.

Lol, its a cool flash animation, but because not exist sprites of eggman without him ship, the final scene is with a 16 bits Eggman sprites.

Look for about 16 years now, Robotnik/"Eggman" had been killing Sonic and he always comes back, he never learns and he knows he'l' always lose, anyway this was quite a good movie and about the part where Sonic was shot, I don't care, I don't critisize people for killing Sonic in their flashes anymore, therefore it's only a flash.

Good work anyway!
