Being a HUGE fan of H.P. Lovecraft I was practically choking when those two manga-esque girls were messing with the Cthulu doll. But choking in a good way, choking with laughter cause, I mean, these dudes don't exactly cuddle well. Anyway, H.P. Lovecraft beating his head at the end was great. If they read some of the stories about the Cthulu race, they'd probably not invite it to tea again. Great work. The master of horror and macabre would be proud.

I loved this old-school animation. I just want to say to all the idiots reviewing before me (in exception of a few) - even if you don't know of the author of the books or what they were about (i didn't) it's still not hard to work out whats going on...

Anyway, good job on this.

H.P. Lovecraft wrote books about otherworldly things and beings. The Cthulhu is supposed to be a horrible creature who's some sort of demi god. It was a plush, little girls were calling it cute, and the fancy hat; all of those were taking away from Lovecraft's intended meaning and he was banging his head on his coffin because the meaning of one of his characters was undermined. I guess I get it because I'm an English major, but come on people, giving it low because you're unaware of the background?
