I was extremely impressed with the quality of this submission. The voice acting, the anime, the style, the script...Everything was right on par! And the end with Lovecraft rolling in his grave...Brilliant!

GREAT flash i loved it its like so cute ahahahahahaha poor lovecraft, make him flip in his grave LOL...man after watching this i don't think i'll ever think the Cthulu would look evil lol, and great graphics!

That was funny. I think a lot of the kids these days aren't going to get that refrence, but it was still fucking hilarious. Was "Please pass the milk please" an intentional They Might Be Giants refrence? Probably just coincedence. Oh well.

but seriously though... very snazzy flash. i'm genuinely surprised that it didn't get front page when it came out, and that i didn't notice it earlier. just goes to show that there are some really great movies hiding in the woodwork. also, that's the first attempt i've seen anywhere to make cthulhu cute. anywho, keep it up man.

ok I may have an idea of what this means.In order to get this you would have to have some knowledge of HP Lovecraft.The doll that the girl buys is called a cthulu, the cthulu is some kind of ugly dark demon type thing(thats all I know). Now the skeleton banging its head against the top of the casket was HP Lovecraft. HP Lovecraft published a book called "Call of the Cthulu"(hence the name of the title).Therfore the girls corrupted something that drove Lovecraft insane and caused his skeleton to bang its head against the wall. but to the overall performance of the movie, I in the end liked it and thought it was very unique. You did a very good job making it into an anime, and the keyboard playback was very handy. I hope to see more from you in the future. With a wierd freaky doll and suicidal skeleton I give you four out of five of my shiz.

...in your comments or in the movie itself to not review it unless you understand it. Unfortunately, you lent yourself to a whole community that includes citizens whose literature comes from google searches and chat rooms. Some, however, know who HP Lovecraft is and why this is funny. I'm one of the latter people. And I don't mean to group internet users into two categories, either, as I'm sure there are many more categories as well. I just want to let you know that this was a great toon, and that I feel your pain when, in response to confused reviews, you say "sigh!" Oh, and I want to eat your brain.

Say, what exactly does Cthulu do that makes him so evil? Does he melt kittens with lazer vision or something?
