Today I opend Newgrounds on my computer and decided to play this game. After playing it I decided to read all the other reviews others had written, 10-8 0, these are the the scores of the reviews I read. I notice you apreciate good comments and claim to want constructive criticisms of your work. So here are my coments/the reasons I gave you the scores I gave you.
Graphics: Very neat and tidy, even if nothing truly moved.
Style: Could have been a little more variety in the options you had. I read a review just before mine that stated all you could do was change the colour but I foud that you can also add weapons and a couple of other features.
Sound: None, perhaps you should add some music.
Violence: None, perhaps it should remain this way.
Interactivity (a key factor): All you were really capable of in this game was moving a couple of still graphics around a sceen. Moving graphis would be a welcome new feature and some little bonus mini games wouldn't go a-miss either.
Humour: I don't believe that this game was designed to be humourus, however it had a little bit of comedy in it's belt as it's a novel idea.
So why the 0 for the overall score? Well I was originally going to rate this game a 6/10 however, after reading those reviews, I changed my mind.
Remember when I said you CLAIMED to want constructive criticism on your work. Well after reading through your replys to reviews I find that hard to believe.
In my opinion several reviewers were right. When someone gives you a bad review, wether it's constructive or not, you do seem to act in a sulk-full and arrogant manner before ridiculing or insulting the reviewer. For this I take away the 6/10 points I would have given you and intend to take them elsewhere.
I also agree with several others who say that your work should be blamed. Not because it's a bad game, but because your, quite frankly, a big cry baby when it comes to being told your works not up to scratch. However harshly the others may have judged you you've no need to judge them in the same manner.
Elsewise, good work, make some improvements and this game could be a real hit.
