The movie was ok , but just because it is black and white doesn't make it a film noir. There are many other important elements and this didn't really have any of them.

a little short, but it was a pretty interesting animation. cool plot to it and the drawings were very good too. i wish that this had had more color to it, but the black-and-white theme was pretty good and i definitely didn't find this one to be an "unpleasant experience".

I pulled a lot of meaning out of this one and I'm probably overanalyzing it like I do everything but if a person can find some message that means something to them in a piece of art than it is no less meaningful than the one the artist was trying to convey. To me the cat represented that part of yourself that most people are disgusted and terrified by but you find beautiful.
