tired of seeing stupid people with power in their hands... any amount of power; even as little as giving a bad review to an excellent flash game. i'd normally give about a 7 or 8, but moronacy has led me to give a 10 simply because of idiots who have no patience and don't seem to realize that other people besides themselves have feelings. yes, you are stupid. yes i realize you have feelings. no i'm not sorry because i don't expect you care. and i'm wasting playing time to scold those with an iq too low to understand. *sigh* how dumb does that make me? but i can't give up hope. at least have the common courtesy to shrug and move on when you can't load something instead of taking it out on the creater of the file who is not at fault. why don't you call your isp provider and bitch someone out over the phone? at least that way you can be a bigger ass and actually get the chance to verbally abuse someone instead of just typing. i'm out man. screw you. oh yeah, great game Kinsman. and i'm with you delta_angelfire. stupid people shouldn't breed, talk, type... hell, stupid people shouldn't even breathe.

WOW this game is THE best RPG Flash game I have ever played, Im glad theres a sequel, and the fighting system is the most origanal Ive seen yet.
though the fack that you couldnt save nor use items during fights kinda sucked, but thats what the sequel, I knowthis game mighta of took a while, but over all? it kicked ass, hope you make a part 4.

"Oh my god! Real characters!"

I love this game! The graphics, obviously, weren't as good as Playstation graphics or whatever, but
they were more than adequete to convey the storyline, and they were pretty good for
flash.

This RPG was very much a typical Final Fantasy type RPG...some of the lines and
events so could have popped out of a 16 bit Final Fantasy cart. But, I mean this in
the best possible way. I don't mean to suggest that the action is cliched, but rather that
it is worthy of a classic series.

It may seem strange that I have given many of the categories scores below 10, but given this game a 10 overall.
That's because the best part of this game is that it's a real RPG, not a flashy arcade
or shooter game. Most of the cateogries apply more to those types of games than to
actual RPGs.

My final note, which relates to the title of my review, is that I was glad to see actual
characters with personalities! Oh my god....I didn't think I'd see that in the Porta!

Congratulations. This game is amazing. It rises high out of the crap.

"Good, But Needs Work"

This is a good game, a very good game. But some minor details turn this good game into something that's very annoying. First of all, it's really irritating to have to restart from the beginning every time I die. Second there is no run feature, if i know i'm going to get creamed i have no choice but to get creamed. These two things put together make it really annoying. I'll get pretty far, get a few levels, then get into a fight where i might not place my cards (An excellent system) right or i might just be low on HP then i have to start ALLLL over again. By simply defining the level and HP variables elsewhere this can be fixed. (I suggest putting them in frame 1 and starting everything normaly from frame 2, this way the variables are only set once). You could put penalties in for dying though, i wouldn't mind losing all my gold because i died, as long as i didn't have to go through all that work again. All in all this is a good game. Keep up the good work. Very original and very cool, one of the sweetest cures for stick movies ever.

Not bad at all. Exciting, and I wouldn't say it's hard either. Though the choosing cards bit can be improved, e.g., allow us to see all the cards we got at the same time, and allow more time to choose. Well done, and I can't wait for the next chapter!

This is simply great work. i didn't realise anyone could make such detailed games. until now!
i give it 10 definitely one of the best works on newgrounds...should be near number 1. i have not checkout episode 2 of this game yet soo...
