It's a great game if you use the proper tactics such as fighting easy monsters until you get good cards and leveling up as high as you can.

P.S. The music from Battle Arena Toshinden 2 was a great add on to the already great soundtrack.

It's hilarious to see people go through eight year old games that were made when flash was still basic (2000) as could be and demand better graphics, I'd hate to think the angry emails Nintendo would be getting were they ever to pick up a NES and pop in Final Fantasy.

For it's time it was one of the most advanced games around that I can remember playing, back when Tom was making a hack'n'slash Samurai and Will Stamper was having a poorly animated dog die in numerous ways. Not judging an old game by today's standards, I'd rate it a 10/10 for it's innovative combat system which some flash RPGs still struggle to come up with and end up generic Final Fantasy clones.
