That was quite an amazing game. Today just happened to be the day that i got too pissed off at Onimusha 3 to play any more, and Absalom came to the rescue. Even though the backgounds are simple, i still liked them and do not think that they should be changed for future parts. In fact i enjoyed all of the graphical aspects of this game and i don't think that any of them should be upgraded, because that would ruin the experience.

To be honest, the story isn't very interesting to me, just standard RPG fare. But, obviously, I was still impressed. The fact that Kinsman managed to get this done in Flash format is really impressive. I dig the battle system: very unique and quite clever. I like the little town music, too. It may be just a repetitive little lilt, but I like it. I'm looking forward to the third chapter.

This is the best RPG on newgrounds, you really now how to make a good game, Im on my way to play number 2 as soon as im done this reveiw just 1 thing that bugs me, you don't get the same cards every time, oh well, other than that great awsome game, you could have a game carier actualy making money off of games ahead of u, I gave it a 5

Nice little RPG. Try explaining the battle system explaination a little better though, I understood it after dying twice, other than that its cool. Maybe in #3 you can get new weapons, or maybe learn new skills w/ levels or pay for them? Just an idea.
On a side note, people that diss this, LEARN TO AT LEAST SPELL, also you try making a flash RPG. I'd bet real money it'd be complete and udder crap!
