Hmm... lesseee....
X=+Sine (sin)
Y=-Cosine(cos)
Angle inc. = 30
Color=Rainbow, rate 50

Just mess around with the rest all you want. It gives you a nice spinny thing with each "arm" its own color.
Also, try lowering the Angle inc. to get more"arms"

A few tips:
Don't use tan. It'll only draw around 5 lines.
Don't use the same sign for X and Y, it's not as cool looking.
Press SPACE when it's "done" and be nice to your comp.
Use Sin for X/Y and Cos for the other to get a spiral.

BTW, great work Max. But not as good as your Madness...
