When I played the previous version of Pencak Silat I found it was addictive and had a 'proper' Martial Arts feel to it. It was like veiwing one of my kumite matches tournament style! :) I'm glad to say this expectation has been carried to 2.1. As well as new features!
The gameplay may be just a simple procedure of just pressing [space] all the time - but you can use a few neat-looking combos too, which is nice. Outside the matches, you can customise your character to look like a true Martial Artist, or just a tattooed psycho I guess...You can still upgrade your character to make them stronger etc, and now use weapons! Yay!
Graphically, it's neat and animated well. The characters may not have eyes or other facial features but it really doesn't matter. (Or are you REALLY here to get off over some flash-dude?!)
The sound is clear and relaxing in places...the sound when the text was on (in story mode) sounded very traditional. Although some of the tracks didn't really suit the game's theme.

Apart from the delay in walking/action, this is a good game! :D

I really enjoyed this game. It is good to see, that there are some really talented flash artists out there. I have to agree to Hiei1290, there are to less enemies. I am waiting for a sequel, it would be great, if you could include speach and some more new moves along with a great story line. This game and you have much potential. Wish you all the best.

i mean it's overall a really good game. but i think you need to fight more people. i went through like 4 fights and beat the boss.any way, great game!

Most of this game was great. I mean, the fighting style is quite lame because there aren't different choices of moves, and it's too short, and your brother is strong enough to kill you in one hit.. yeah.. I think somewhere I got lost.. I forgot how I was going to compliment this game.. uhh.. yeah.. this game needs work. It's definetly not bad though, don't get me wrong.

Truth be told, I played the heck out of this quite a while ago, under a slower computer. I must say that this is definitely a great game, and should you ever desire to expand on it, I would love to play it even more. I tried it just because I've always had a slight interest in Pencak Silat, and got more than I bargained for.

So, in short, good work.
