"a classic"

well done, i love the absalom rpg and this one is the best yet. the battle system is years ahead of one and two its really impressive. i think your absalom games are so perfect i cant help trying to help so here are some improvements (its construtive critism not insulting i love the game remember)
the music is well...repititive get some nice long scores if you can i mean i already waited ages for the game to load i would wait another 5 mins for some nice sounds.

the moving system is great, especially if you make games faster like this (please please PUH-LEAZE keep making absalom everyone loves it, w/the great characters)

battle system is fine except when you win marthanne cant heal at the end which is a bummer coz you dont have any inns the zero hp thing is fine though.

well please take this on board i think you are an amazing game maker.

"They killed it..."

What the hell happened to Absolem? The series I've played and fallen in love with? You've killed it, that's what! Instead of sticking with the tried-and-true sidescrolling movement which I"ve grown quite fond of, you give me this dot crap? And why can't I change cards on the fly like before? This is a serious step backwards for the series. However, I think the battle system looks much nicer, even though fighting at 0HP is dumb and confusing, and the config screen is a nice touch. But still, I found Absolem: Dungeon a serious dissapointment. Stick with sidescrolling, change the card system around (maybe allow players to buy cards at special shops?), and keep the battle updates (for the most part), and you'll end up with a classic. Trust me.

"Bring back the engine style of Absalom 2"

This version is ok, but I find the movement very tedious, and the game play not as fun as Absalom 1 and 2. I really dislike the card style used here, I like being able to change the cards during each encounter better, it was a challenge, and it made you really consider if it ws worth changing or not since you had to surender its value for the battle. I hope that you make Absalom 3, I just hope its more in the style of 1 and 2, and not Absalom Dungeon. Absalome 1 and 2 kept me going from start to finsih, this one, I just can't seem to get interested in as much.

THAT SUCKED BIS DONKEY BALLS.I LIKED THE OTHER TWO BUT THAT MOVING FROM DOT-TO-DOT THING IS JUST PLAIN SAD.BRING BACK THE OLD SYSTEM.

"A good game"

I love the Absalom series and this game is no exception, but the new traveling engine is kind of stupid. I like the more visual battle system but I think it could be improved on, like getting rid of the ability to fight at 0 HP. Please don't stop making Absalom!!

hey this is great stuff. the only things i can find to bitch about is

1.the people are huge makem smaller
2.touch up a liteel on the back ground
3.make the people a littel less windy

over all i like this version of Absalom.u shoud defeatly go threw whith it no mater what any body says.ive seen to many flash seriouses just stop making epesods all of a suden . dont le that happen to u

"Nice engine but needs improvement"

Hello, I got a few things to report, which could improve the game.
- Shop :
* When you come to buy several items of a kind it's boring to start the chat with the shop keeper from the beginning
- Experience :
* It's hard to have a low level character have his cards changed. Maybe the card change should be for the worst fighter, in order to improve him.
* Another thing is that it's boring to have several times an 8 of trump as the card offered to change. Try at least to avoid the same card coming back 2 times.
* Characters should have at least 1 trump card. Marthanne without healing powers and Hiro who can't shoot is boring.
- Fighting :
* The pack thief should give back the stolen items when killed, and keep them when he abdicates.
* The character with the best initiative should be the first one to choose action, and then they should be ordered by decreasing initiative.
* Characters should keep as default attack the one they previously used. A few variables to keep this (for each character 1 for the type of action (I to III) and one for a the type of action (ie : poke, cutter, etc)). This would save a nice amount of time instead of always having to click on the same combos.
* When a target is killed, the characters to attack it next should retarget, like it was the case in Absalom 2.
* When the last ennemy dies in a fight, let the other characters end their actions, like it was the case in 2. (especially Marthanne healing power)
* A longer break should be done after Hiro attacks. Sometimes there's not even the time to see the result (damage or miss)(bug ?)
- Graphics :
* Emma size in the traveling scenes should be adapted to size of scene. The shop keeper looks like a giant compared to her. Same for other scenes.
- Sounds :
* Make sound and music on/off commands available at all time.
* More sounds during fights (at least for Emma, Marthanne and Hiro)
* Different musics during fights and travel scenes.

It's maybe my point of view, but I liked better the moving system of the 2. The yellow dots system becomes quickly boring.
Despite the fact you tell that it's not a full game, it's nice anyway. Keep up the good game, and dot he 3, oh please, do it with this engine !

This RPG is great, really cool. The new combat system is nice as well. I like the plot and music too. Please finish the absalom series, it's great. It would go to waste if you dont finish it.
