Author's Response:
Simple, just pay a little more attention to the movie.
The lock of his celldoor broke when the guard closed it. The main character saw that and escaped.
Also, the first scenes from this movie was a quick compilation from Asylum 1 and 2.
Asylum 3 actually starts when the main character is having a flashback about his escape, before the events from Asylum 1, 2 and 3 started.
And yeah, the main guy is hard to kill, but it wasn't meant to be a realistic action movie. Thanks for the review though.
