It killed the rest of my day. :>
Great audio, smooth animation, and user controls okay.
A few problems I found, which annoyed the hell out of me in the tougher levels - the units move slowly, and sometimes I select them, click, and they don't move at all, or they move a little ways (usually in the wrong way), then stop. Also, I'd post a unit somewhere, and when an enemy pulls up, it'd just stand there and not return fire. I knocked off two points for all of those problems, but it is truly a good game.

But yea, movement is too slow. And the defender ship jsut sits there and get shot! WTF.

Tip on how to beat last level on Retro:

First, just get 5 invaders, a bunch of turrents, and a tank or two. send out your miner with your tank as cover. Use invaders and those triangle thingies to ward off the NxtGn. Then, when they start unleashing beams at you and slow down their infantry, but all the tanks, speeders, and invaders you can (but first go destroy their weapons with invaders, otherwise you still get beamed) and destroy their turrents and "life support." I got it done with over $12000 :P

the pace of the game was ridiculously slow. I end up waiting minutes for my units to arrive at location and have nothing to do while I'm waiting. Maybe it was just me as I didn't get very far into the game (I quit to go play Starcraft) but even so, the beginning levels should be much faster and more units should be available from the start.

i thought it was good, definitely needs some serious expension, however. the set amount of certain units you could build such as five aggrovated me, and when you told them to move to a certain place they would line up in a single line one behind the otgher faceing towards where i wanted them to alll move to, forcing you to move them one by one, and in a situation where it's shoot or be shot then you need intelligent unit movent. also level 9 on nxtgn is hard as hell, anyone know how to do it?
