They often get simplistic randomness confused with dreamlike surrealism.

This animation, my friend, was the latter.

You see, fellow Newgroundians, randomness is a lazy art style in which people pick stupid nouns and use them more often in their work than usual, making them appaear, as the name says, randomly. Their idea is to make "shock value" by making people become confused on why they meaninglessly picked those stupid nouns.

Surrealism, however, is the concept of twisting logic in order to create some sort of dreamlike feeling, which this animation did, and quite well, shall I say. Usually, surrealism is a bit... darker, and morbid, so this is a somewhat good break from that.

the point of it is sheer randomness its not supposed to make sence
do dreams ever make sence?

anyway, i really liked it. i dont thing it could have been better other than making it longer but its fine
it is very interesting, maybe you should make a game kinda like it
but dont go and just make a game, ask around, it might not be the best idea

well , im a fan of random things because lots of thinking that go through my mind are insanely random , the video just show a random mind and i loved it, also the way the castle is built in he music rhythm. The colors and animations are great and the song to . Great job =)
just wish to live in a random dream world but reality is brtal =p

Nice experimental flash

A very cool looking movie, nice use of different styles and very well synched with music. Really worked well.

The music was a cool choice. Fitted in excellently to the visual aspect of the film

Overall it was excellent,trippy and all round fun. I was a bit disappointed at the end when you couldn't go back to the menu. But that's only a little thing. Good movie, good job

Visuals: well drawn, random, not of the best quality but it doesn't take away from the movie, they went in perfect sync with the music and had that "artistic statement" feel about them

Audio: great song for this type of animation, it went with the whole randomness theme nicely

Overall: cool animation the menu took a bit to start up, might consider changing that, also continue to develop your animation skills, they're good now and can always be better
