This is an absolutely extraordinary game.

It definitely ranks amongst the greatest games on the internet, and I have been been playing flash games for a long, long time.

It takes some patience to see the true brilliance of this game - the incredibly creative and varied gaming styles, the depth of the lines (at least towards the end), and the slightly bizarre but fabulous sense of humor.

Obviously it's not perfect - there are some slight issues with the controls, and another attack would have been nice. And unfortunately the game doesn't sell itself particularly well for the first few levels - it takes some patience to come across its real genius. This is why the score is not 4.89 - people have lost patience before getting to the heart of this game.

But don't take the critics to heart. You are a LEGENDARY flash artist, and don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. I'm looking forward to your future work - keep this up and you can really change the way gaming is done forever.

I really love games like that. A cool story mixed with RPG and action- what else do you want? The use of music is just brilliant. People often cut out music because of the filesize and I´m glad you didn´t. I would rather play a game that takes 20 minutes to load than a shitty game full of bad-quality wavs.
Great game, but sadly totally underrated :(

dont listen to spyke03 or jeremyhfht! the game was great! gameplay was awesome! the only part that i have found hard is at the castle at the part with all the moving platforms! its still great! the only thing i would suggest is allowing vlad to use more weapons like wen you beat onion king you can get his axe, wen you beat the werewolf dude you get the gun and wen you beat desire you get some magic thing. btw i loved the battle with desire!! =]

oh and to Jeremyhfht: dude the game is meant to be this way! i dont see how the music annoys you seeing how many games play the same music over and over! the music also fits the game! also, who said it was meant to be a hardcore rpg! its mostly telling a story along with letting you play much like the "Paladin" game! he could have just made a movie if he wanted but he made it so you can also play it! there are many platform games like this and castlevania which are extremely fun that even YOU have to admit! also wat challenges do you expect! he does make it so its hard to stay away from things by making them move! also you do have to go through challenges to be able to attack bosses. by this i mean you have to survive their attacks first! Honestly, SHAME ON YOU!!! this is a quality game much better then some of the other crap you see on newgrounds! thats all...
