Thanx dude, this tutorial also inspired me to make my own RPG based on ragnarok characters, I love my Sniper!!

But there was somethig wrong in some of your codes coz they lacked a " ; "...
And yeh, cud u make a part 2 where it teaches actual interaction with an object like, putting it in an iventory or battling it... plz and ty...

As for the people who are complaining because they're too stupid to realize they need flash, or this idiot below me, they're a part of every tutorial submission. pretend they're not there.

However, you could have fleshed it out a bit more.
Maybe explain some things for real newbies (moeny/health vars, customizable characters, etc.,)
and call it "the newbie rpg tutorial"

its an alright tutorial but my main issue with this was the music its alright in a game but not a tutorial mellow it out a little your not killing bad guys your learning and also as the code got longer it also got alot smaller so you couldnt read it with small fonts like those look at pixel fonts put it into google or something else it makes a small text not alias as that did and can be read alot smaller nice work on the sprite tho by the way. :D
