It does get real addictive and actually a bit exciting when you see you're about to lose with like a million squares coming down. Sadly though it does get a tad bit repetitive. You should add some power ups or like turrets to help out so the people who suck at games like this (Me) could stand a bit more of a chance of lasting more than a minute. If you did add turrets you should have like two that move along the sides of the main cannon and should have a couple things in there to reflect the shots. If you could add a power up it should be like after a certain amount of squares you take down you could have like a wipe the screen kinda thing. Besides that, the game is fun and addictive good looks.
