"Challenging"

by: DrSte
date: April 18, 2008

At first glance, it seems just random, but *somehow* the answers look "reasonable". I enjoyed it! Each level was grabbing my attention. The music was good, too.

play play play play play play play play play play play play play play play play play play

And what's the score that gets the surprise? Far from 395?

Author's Response:

Im glad you liked it.

Over 9000.

thanks for playing

"Potential"

by: Shanus
date: April 6, 2008

A very strange game, challenging to the point of stupidity, but it did have a certain chaotic charm.

The graphics were nothing to write home about but they did serve their purpose . The levels were designed quite well, nice and fun.

The sound was alright, just a bit repetitive, but it was well suited to the game so well chosen.

The games overall design was a little off though,I found the instructions confusing and the game play nonsensical. The balance between the l game play and controls need to be fixed. I can see it being good if these are fixed.

Author's Response:

Ineed... Ill change alot of stuff when i make the next one.

I didnt draw any of the preloaders myself so i dont know what to say about that. But it did take me a while to make some of the levels.

Yeah... i seem to have gotten that alot about the music, but I thought it would fit the game so I used it.

Ill also make everything much easier and fun next time, Ill also make it easier to tell the difference next time too.

Thanks for playing. :P

Thsi game doesn't have much going for it to be honest. I've looked and we've apparently looking for differences in the play buttons. That rules out the ones that you've reversed and changed the letter order on.

I notice that it doesn't exclude the buttons that you've orientated differently - I succeeded on a level with a button that wasn't straight, which really does mean that it's left to chance.

Like Bezman already said, this game consists of nothing else but "trial and error". There was no way to indicate which "Play"-button is the correct one. Well no way except for clicking all the buttons that were on the screen.

I don't think that this concept is very entertaining nor very original. If you would draw the correct play button slightly different from all the wrong ones, so that the player could actually SEE the right button it would be much more fun to play the game.
Of course you would have to think of ways to hide the correct button among all the wrong ones, but I think the effort would be worth it.

Author's Response:

90% Of everything we learn comes from trial and error.

Aww... I failed to entertain someone... :'(

Ill keep that in mind.

Effort is not one of my strong points thoe, but ill try anything once.

Thanks for playing thoe. :P

"trial-and-error."

by: Bezman

I got to the level with 4spinning blue bars (and nothing else but static blue). Idecided to give up at that point.

I've played a few of these sorts of games and my main beef is that it all seems to be just a test of continuing to click. Trial and error if you will. Despite you implying that the correct button has some visual distinction, I find that hard to believe when sometimes a grey button progressed me, sometimes a yellow.

So we have a game that's just about trial and error and I consider that a pretty poor show.

If you actually had differences betwen the buttons (maybe the correct button is always the same size, but false buttons are smaller/larger/have reversed text/altered shapes/embossed text etc.) it might be a cooler game - a game of observation rather than blind perseverence.

Some levels I saw were kinda pretty and I like that you introduced moving stuff.

But your game needs a serious rethink to make it more than trial-and-error.

dissapointing because all the graphics weren't made by you and the game overall sucked. no plot, pointless, and a rather bad concept.

that's all i've got to say, also, that techno song was horrible.

March 30, 2008

Author's Response:

And? thats the whole point! its made entirely of preloaders.

Games are supposed to have plots...?

and actually 9/10 people love the song... you are the 1/10
